We celebrated my sister’s bday at Miller’s Ale. Besides the food being delicious and the relaxing ambiance, the service was good. However, when the GM, Brian stopped by to see how things were going, the service went from good to great! I’ve eaten at many high-end restaurants in downtown Chicago and it’s customary for the GM to stop by and check in on the customers. So it was a pleasant surprise when Brain checked in on us. We had a couple of small requests and Brian took care of them immediately with no questions asked. Brian was personable, professional and very courteous. There’s a saying “If you’re too big to serve, you are too small to lead.” Brian exemplified true leadership as he served us and made us feel extra special. We cannot wait to return. The customer service from the GM was 5 Star.

Let’s start with the food. I ordered ribeye steak and it’s cooked to perfection. My wife ordered filet mignon. It looks good too. Kids had salmon and burger. It didn’t disappoint. My kids finished the burger and asked for more. Server was good. Entries were served before the appetizer, but it was ok because the calamari was on the house per manager’s discretion. I love the service. I love the food. Place is very clean. There’s nothing much to say, but goodness all around.

The food was ok, there was nothing special about it and I could have made better food at home for half the cost. I’m still not sure the steak I received was the 10oz sirloin I ordered. It was also more done than I requested. Our server was very slow. The guy that brought out our food refilled my drink. Nobody came out to check if the food was ok and cooked correctly until approximately 20 minutes after we received the food. Which is when our server popped back up and finally refilled my drink. Aside from taking our order, bringing the first round of drinks, then the last round of drinks when we were wrapping up to leave, we didn’t see our server.
The atmosphere was great, Loved the music they played. Plenty of parking and the place was fairly clean. I only left a 5% tip which is really low for me. It’s seriously not hard to get a 20% tip from me. You just have to.. You know … Show back up to ask if the steak was right and you check if a refill was needed BEFORE we’re wrapping up to leave.

Miller’s Ale House features pub style fare with refreshing beers and cocktails. Stopped in for dinner and found some Happy Hour Specials. Select appetizers, sandwiches and drinks each for $10 between 3 and 6 pm. One for grabbing a deal, we ordered two Cheeseburgers with fries. Kids ordered the fried calamari, fish and chips and 6 oz sirloin. Service and host were spectacular. Booths are well lit and cozy. The bar was a bit noisy from echo, but could imagine more hustle and bustle during game time. Kitchen temp missed on medium rare on our sirloin, otherwise the food was solid. A few beers, sodas and refills later and all went as a four star should.

Miller’s is a solid bar-restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the food variety is really nice. Their mac and cheese and Philly cheese steak sandwiches are really good! The mac and cheese was very cheesy and creamy, definitely try it if you have a chance. Their cocktails are not the best, and they can be a bit weak and overly sweet. The staff is really nice though! I’ve been to two different Miller’s and both places had really welcoming and kind staff.

Miller’s Ale House offers a delightful experience with excellent deals and attentive management. While occasional busyness may result in longer wait times, the overall atmosphere is enjoyable with good drinks and food. The wings are particularly solid, and the steak and shrimp deal is awesome. Additionally, the Tuesday kids eat free promotion adds extra value. Overall, it’s a great spot for a satisfying meal and a good time.

Food was great!!! Only small problem I had was the ribeye (cooked medium). It had Great Seasoning on it, Great sear to it, the gas grill could’ve been up too high, so it was too much of a gas taste. For my liking. Drinks were nice. My husband had the Pork Osso Bucu. That was Extremely Tender & flavor Town was on point our wings were great as well. Shrimp were crispy good.
Every sporting event was on different TVs. It was a really nice atmosphere!!

This place is a hot or miss, we did a calimari 2.5/5 smelled odd,
Pasta dish my wife and i shared 3/5, fish and fries 1/5 the fish was a bit to fishy and didnt taste to my standards seemed like frozen old fish and fried we told the waitress and she didnt care to take care of us. Service was not good, waitstaff would disappear in the back and wouldnt check on us, zero stars. The only thing good was the beer. This place like i said is a hit or miss, but for me it was a miss. Spent 87 dollars. Dont let the pics fool you flavor was not on point.

We stopped by after a quick trip to the mall. The service was awesome and the food was delicious! We had the best server in the place! I was being a pain in the butt but Kathy had so much patience with me & had excellent customer service! Definitely going back soon!!
