The service was amazing. Even though they were busy, they took the time to communicate with us what was going on. Lena was great!
Decker Lake Drive by the Maverik Center.
You get 8 jumbo shrimp with the freshest, soft-tender sweet potatoes fries and 2 dipping sauces $15, good values for a seafood restaurant. The meal comes with a complimentary white shrimp crispy chips dashed with a tasty seasoning.
The cocktail sauce was delicious. The best and freshest that I can recall in a long time **** Fry sauce was fresh and excellent.
For children, perfectly blended seasoning batter chicken tenders.
Stopped by Hooks & Heel before headed to John Legend’s concert at the Maverik Center.
Everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors worked so well together.
It has the perfect seafood restaurant-bar vibes.

Loved the decors in the restaurant and bar. Antique moving parts of the steampunk gears/wheels pinned to the wall by the restrooms were cool and added a nolstagic era and timeline.
The bathroom needs some work. It didn’t smell Lysol or bleach cleaned, it has a lingering funky odor as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Gunky toilet papers by toilet stalls, bathroom counter/flooring needs to be throughly cleaned-wiped everyday for guests. Air freshener is a must to place on the small bathroom counter.
Come hungry. Generous portions.
Will circle back with business associates, family and friends.
The service was a standout, our waitress (I believe her name was Lena) was absolutely amazing and super attentive.
We started with the steamed oysters, which were unfortunately a letdown, pretty mid and not as fresh as we hoped. However, the seafood bags totally made up for it! The crab and shrimp were delicious, and the seasoning we picked was spot on.
Overall, we left happy and full. Would definitely come back, just probably skip the oysters next time.
When I got to the hostess stand, I politely said I was trying to get a table for my wife and I. The hostess (Kaia, if I’m spelling that correctly) responded with an obvious look of annoyance and an “uhhh okay.” It immediately felt unwelcoming. I understand Valentine’s Day is hectic, but no need for that response.
Later, when I received the text saying our table was ready and returned to check in, I was initially ignored. When I tried again and showed the message, I was told “we have to go in order.” That’s completely fine, but that could have been communicated respectfully the first time instead of brushing me off.
The wait ended up being shorter than expected, and once seated, everything improved. Our server, Cassie, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and professional. We left a great tip because the service at the table was excellent.
That being said, the hostess is the first interaction guests have with the restaurant. On a special night like Valentine’s Day, being greeted with attitude instead of professionalism really sets the wrong tone. I did speak with a manager before leaving because I genuinely enjoy this place and have never had an experience like that until now.
I’ll be back because I love the food and the late-night availability, but if Kaia doesn’t have the manners to deal with the customers, she should be washing the dishes.
