We had onion rings and fried pickles for appetizers. The onion rings had a great crunch. The batter was great. Cooked very nice. Pickles the same. We both decided on the Cowboy Cheeseburger. A seasoned burger topped with onion rings, good sized bacon, a semi sweet BBQ sauce and top with jalapeños for a little extra something something. Very good burger. Great size. The place was packed for a Wednesday evening. Barely found a seat but the food came out quickly. Menu is great size with many options. Very reasonable prices. I cannot reiterate the reasonable prices, I thought that was a thing of the past. We will def be back to try some pizza, wings and the Chipotle Burger. It sounds Parking is rough even though the lot is big, it was that packed. The place is popping. Very friendly and good service.

UPDATED:

I am sharing this experience as a caution to those getting sandwiches there. I ordered their ultimate fish sandwich which usually come with a big toothpick through it. That toothpick was not there this time, I wish I noticed this sooner. The toothpick was placed almost perfectly inside of the bottom bun, I did not notice this until I was eating the sandwich and but right into the sharp end with the roof of my mouth. I subsequently called to let the staff/management know of this alarming discovery, I tried explaining several times to them over the phone about what happened, she seemed to understand but did not really seem to care about it happening. She said they sometimes they get put in at an extreme angle while the person is handling it, I told her that that can be dangerous, then she finally asked why I’m calling “just to let them know or was I hurt” I figured that should be the first question not the last. I just told her that it could hurt someone and while I was not hurt badly it still pierced the roof of my mouth. She said thanks for the call, and that was that. I go here often as it is close to home and a local business but by how this was handled I might need to rethink that decision if this is something that she acts like happens frequently.

Update, so I called back and decided to ask for a refund on not my whole meal but just the sandwich, after thinking on how they treated the situation and the fact my mouth is hurting still I decided to ask for that. I called back and asked for the same manager, she asked me to bring back the sandwich in person for a refund. I explained that I have already thrown it away because I lost my appetite and did not want to. She basically called me a liar, she said if I wanted my refund to grab it out of the trash and bring it back and how she would never have thrown food away and that’s wasteful. Not like that matters! After going there in person, she acted crazy and was very rude. Said people “like me” ruin it for everyone else. Admitted that this has happened before and knew of the toothpick but said it would never happen again, even though she admitted it’s been happening. Then denied insinuating that I am a liar and said she’s been in the restaurant industry since she was sixteen and basically saying I’m the problem. And continued to argue with me while holding back my refund in cash while she was talking.she then said very sarcastically about how sorry she was all while smiling. I DO NOT recommend this place, if she is the owner I hope she can grow up and learn to not be petty and accept the fact that they can make mistakes and people are allowed to ask for refunds. I have been there dozens of times before but will never return.

The food is great but Millay’s isn’t the bar it used to be….an actual bar to have fun at. It’s no longer a tavern/bar and they should just drop the name and stop pretending they are a tavern/bar. Owners can be rude. Example: I ordered a pizza there and instead of going to the drive thru I decided to see if anyone I knew was in there that evening when I picked it up. When the staff member helped me and I told him i was picking up a pizza he very bluntly and rudely (the tone in his voice) said “We have a drive thru”….excuse the hell out of me for making you walk 15ft to grab my damn pizza.

Overall, great food but atmosphere and staff not so much. Not worth dining in at all.

I’ve tried it all. The spicy Italian sub, double pepperoni & tomato thin crust pizza, a fried bologna, egg, and American cheese on white toast, and the Ham club are my go-tos. They close at 9pm, and I prefer a later atmosphere.
