It is both a good and bad thing that this place has a small menu. Although, The online one didn’t match what we were given when we were at the restaurant. Luckily, our group all found something but some of us were set on dishes we saw online when we scouted the place. The steak was not good. The trout was okay. The best things we enjoyed on the menu were the Brussels sprouts and the cheese appetizer. And this says something we the 4 of us are foodies. Overpriced for what it is but friendly staff and beautiful, open, airy layout inside or a small patio dining shaded for dinner but you’ll be staring at the parking lot.

Mill Works Pub was absolutely delicious! There was a great area for kids to play, so we actually got to sit down and enjoy cocktails and our food peacefully. Everyone was very nice and the pub was so clean. Bonus points for a great changing table fully stocked with everything we could need!

The aroma of sizzling burgers filled the air as I stepped into Mill Works Pub. It was a familiar scent, one that transported me back to Japan, where I’d first encountered the unique flavor of cast-iron seared burgers. As my eyes adjusted to the dim interior, I was greeted by a friendly bartender. “Good afternoon!” she said with excitement..

“Good afternoon,” I replied, asking if they had any ciders on tap. “We’ve got Mango Orange Passion by Legend,” she answered with a laugh. “It’s juicy!” Intrigued, I ordered one.The menu was filled with tempting options, but I decided to go with a recommendation from my waitress, Malia. She suggested the Korean fried chicken, and I couldn’t resist. The dish arrived with a side of KFC sauce (get it?), pickled daikon, sesame seeds, and scallions. The sauce was a flavorful blend of gochujang, ketchup, hot sauce, and strawberry jam, with a subtle ginger kick. The pickled daikon, with its vibrant color and sweet, tangy taste, was the perfect complement to the spicy chicken. I spent a leisurely afternoon at Mill Works Pub, savoring my Korean fried chicken and enjoying two refreshing Mango Orange Passion ciders. It was a delightful experience, filled with the sounds of lively conversations and the warm atmosphere of a local hangout. Malia was a friendly and knowledgeable server, offering recommendations for things to do in the Bend area. I left feeling like I had discovered a hidden gem and wishing I lived closer.

A delicious and homey restaurant in Bend! Great quality but comfortable vibes. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch. My only critique is that the burger patty was super thin so it was really over done. Next time I would try something else but the flavors were all on point. Great wine and beer list too.

This is a great spot@
The waitress gave us a big smile when we arrived and told us to sit anywhere.
We sat at the bar. The bartender quickly brought us water and menus. He appeared to be extremely busy serving drinks for all the tables, answering phones, and serving the people at the bar, yet he gave us great attention, answered our questions and took our orders with grace and kindness!
Furthermore, the food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced!

Brussels sprouts were amazing! Buns & herb butter were delicious! The Tuna was overcooked in the salad, the pork shank was fall off the bone . The Scillies potatoes were yummy. String beans were stringy and tough. The stuffed vegetarian stuffed zucchini not so good. All in all it was okay. Service was great!!! Lemon aid was sour, not enough sugar. Amaretto Panna cotta was very good, but I didn’t taste any amaretto. Parking lot is huge and empty.

Fast and friendly service. Great tasting food with huge portions. Their nachos are easily a two person dish and they call it a small plate.
They have GF options like the giant tray of nachos. Just a short walk from the Hilton Garden Inn of Bend in the Old Mill District.

Once filling your face and belly, there’s a great park to walk it off or tons of shopping.

Cocktails are tasty, even the sweet ones aren’t too sweet.
The artichoke dip was amazing, and the prime open faced sandwich was really tasty. I should have requested more horseradish, and the onions were a little sweet. But it was all delicious!
The wait staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. The ambiance was subtle but really nice. Not overwhelming like some sports bars.
All in all I will definitely go back for tasty sandos, apps and cocktails. Perfect for a small group of 2-6 but can easily accommodate more.
Also, might be the most gluten conscious pub in bend.
