My mom and I just had lunch here today. Our wonderful waitress Nina greeted us once we were seated. This food was IMMACULATE we started off with two Biscoff Espresso Martinis made by Taj. I ordered the Cajun salmon pasta. My mom ordered the Cajun shrimp & crab pasta. After finishing my entree I placed an order for the berry French toast, they were so delicious! My mom and I enjoyed everything from beginning to finish!! I highly recommend coming to this restaurant. We will also return soon! and all the staff were amazing.

Our niece recommended Milk & Honey in Hampton, VA to my husband and me. She had ordered the chicken & waffles and loved them. We went there this morning, and we were blown away! The dining room is so well decorated and furnished – think fine dining and jazz. The atmosphere was filled with soothing jazz and the attentiveness of the staff. Our server was friendly and efficient. We did not have to wait long for our food, and both our dishes were delicious. My husband ordered shrimp & grits, which is one of his favorites. Everything was cooked perfectly, with the perfect amount of spice. I ordered chicken & waffles, which is one of my favorites and one that I ordered whenever it’s on the menu in a restaurant. The chicken & waffles at Milk & Honey was the best I have ever had. The waffles were delicious and the fried chicken thighs (you can also order wings if you prefer), were crispy and moist. Milk & Honey totally delivers on great food, beautiful atmosphere, and friendly, attentive staff. Thank you, Milk & Honey, for a wonderful meal!

This place has excellent fried fish and the biscoff waffle and chicken are the truth! Cute, quaint, clean atmosphere. Stellar customer service. Taj waited on us and he was a spectacular waiter. He made us samples to taste the signature tea and even placed my napkin in my lap. Recommend!

My fiancée and I were looking for a new restaurant to try for a fun date night and we came across Milk and Honey in Hampton, VA. We came on a Friday night and the hostess was able to seat us right away as there were a few open tables left. The staff did seem to be a little disorganized though as it took about 20-30 minutes for someone to come to our table.
The atmosphere was great and the menu had plenty of delicious sounding options but we were close to leaving when a kind employee from the back saw us getting up and said that she would take our order even though that wasn’t what she normally did. We ordered two cocktails, the honey old bay wings as our appetizer, and the crispy salmon hash and cajun pasta with shrimp and crab for our entrees. Our food came out relatively fast, however our drinks, appetizer, and entrees all came out at the same time. We would have liked to enjoy our cocktail and appetizer before our entrees.
My fiancée really enjoyed her juicy watermelon margarita but I was underwhelmed with my smoked old fashioned. We both really enjoyed the honey old bay wings, but we found the entrees to be a little under seasoned. The salmon was good, but a little dry, and my fiancée felt like there was too much cheese on her hash. The cajun pasta was creamy and a little spicy but did taste under seasoned. The star of the dish was the shrimp though as it had plenty of flavor and was cooked perfectly. We felt our overall experience was fine, and we did enjoy ourselves, we were just a little underwhelmed. We plan to visit again down the road to try the gumbo and shrimp & grits, but we hope the staff is a little more familiar with the flow of the restaurant by then.

I booked a reservation on a Sunday morning for 9:45. When we arrived, we were greeted with a smiling face and was seated immediately. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated with some nice old R&B playing in the background. ( was a bit on the loud so we had to speak up a bit)
Food selection was really good.
Started off with some fried deviled eggs (So yummy with perfect seasoning)
I had the Chicken and waffles ( Amazing) with a Moctail.
My husband got the Steak and Potatoes (also Amazing)
They offer bottles of Sparkling water and some really good coffee
Service was exceptional.
We will definitely go back.
Bill was 99$ after tax.

Had the best brunch I’ve had in a long time! Sam (server) treated us very well and was attentive. Suggested shrimp poboy sliders because out of calamari, excellent! Drinks were great. Cozy space is much more comfortable than huge dining room. Can’t wait to go again.

The food was delicious. I had the biscuits, shrimp and grits, and a peach Bellini. The biscuits were large and soft and buttery. There was also a peach jam of some sort. The peach bellini was tasty and it had edible glitter in it. The shrimp and grits were great. The grits were the perfect consistency. We did make reservations. I would definitely go back.

Loved the green goddess dressing served on the side, a pleasant change from the typical cocktail sauce typical serviced with calamari. The fried and fresh jalapeño in the calamari was nice touch as well. I had the award winning shrimp and grits, while my husband had the steak and eggs. Both dishes were full extremely delicious and full of flavor. My husband was raving by about the potatoes served with his meal. Again we love everything we ordered. I’m excited to return for the salmon dishes they have available.
Service: DB and Christina were great! Christina sat us and DB served us. Fun banter and laughter was shared. We went for brunch so the crowd was light and food came out promptly.
Atmosphere: it was a little chill in the restaurant and the music was little loud.
Overall we had a wonderful time, I’d recommend this location to anyone!
