Reviews
In my opinion, considering the quality and variety of the menu, the pricing is very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat experience, especially for seafood lovers. Although I am personally not a big fan of seafood, particularly raw fish, I still wanted to try this restaurant and I genuinely enjoyed it. The vegetarian sushi options were excellent and very satisfying for someone like me who does not eat raw fish. I especially loved the sweet potato tempura. The salads were fresh and flavorful, the meat dishes were high quality, and the dessert selection was impressive with great variety.
The only point I would like to mention as constructive feedback is that the bowl in which the soup was served had a chipped edge, which is visible in the photo. While eating the soup, the chipped edge touched my lip and I was unable to finish it comfortably. Given the high quality of the food and the overall standard of the restaurant, this was a bit unexpected. I hope more attention will be given to details like this in the future, as addressing them would make the dining experience truly flawless.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant.
The service was also good. Staff were proactive, refilling our water and taking away empty plates without us asking.
I’ve visited KAKA Sushi once before, and this time strengthened my positive view. The kitchen consistently delivers fresh, well-prepared dishes, and I’ve never regretted anything that arrived at the table.
Dishes Highlighted
• Seared salmon and torched nigiri
• Signature rolls from the gourmet menu
• Tempura items and pumpkin shrimp bites
• Steamed dumplings and vegetarian elote option
Service & Atmosphere
The staff were attentive and quick to explain ordering through the tablet system. The restaurant has a vibrant, modern atmosphere that makes degustation relaxed and enjoyable.
Verdict
For those who truly appreciate Chinese-Japanese fusion and generous AYCE selections, this place is absolutely worth trying. I’ll return again with friends to explore more flavors.
Special shoutout to Tristian and Chris for making the night even better. Tristian was super sweet and friendly, made best hand rolls, which was such a nice touch. Their service was fast, attentive, and genuinely war, it made the whole experience feel special.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, great vibes, and top-notch service, KAKA is the spot. Highly recommend it.
I especially enjoyed the tableside handroll, made right in front of you. It was so fresh and delicious; highly recommend. I also really enjoyed the variety of items like tatakis, tacos, specialty rolls, and skewers!
The desserts were also insane :D! There were SO MANY options, I seriously want one of each: ice cream, parfait, cream brulee, cheesecake, chocolates, etc. Definitely save room!
The only thing I didn’t really like was the portion sizes of the sushi sets. For me, six pieces per order felt a bit too much. I understand that this is considered standard, but in some other places you can order sets of four or even two, which makes it easier to taste a wider variety. As a result, we ended up filling up on just one set without being able to try other options.
Will I return? Both yes and no. I definitely recommend this place, especially for the desserts, but personally, I found the ratio of rice to filling not very well balanced.
Pros: friendly and smiling staff, very tasty desserts, cleanliness, wide variety for dinner.
Cons: unbalanced rice-to-filling ratio, portions that are too large in the AYCE menu.
PS
I had to change my review because I decided to try lunch at this place. I would like to remind that previously I gave five stars for food, service, and atmosphere, but I had to change my rating to the current one, and here is why.
This restaurant is presented as an all-you-can-eat place, which is exactly how I ordered. However, it turned out that you cannot actually order unlimited dishes until the end of your allotted time — the decision is made entirely by the staff, who decide when you must stop ordering. They can also refuse to bring you food or deliberately delay it, which I really did not like.
They tried to find excuses for why they could not bring the food, even though according to their own rules the service time had not ended yet. I was very dissatisfied with this type of service, and I made the decision that this is definitely not an ideal place for lunch.
The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, and the service was warm and attentive. Definitely one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had — can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! ✨
