It was totally by accident that we found this hidden gem. After driving for about 8 hours I saw the retro dinner sign and because of my love of diners we stopped and we were SO glad we did. It was BY far the best restaurant that my wife hand I stopped at during our New England vacation!!!
My wife and I both ordered the lamb (which was a massive amount), a generous portion of Mash, a delicious vegetable medley (Green beans and Carrots) and mint jelly which came as “mint jello”, which I had never seen but was pleasantly surprised by. For starters my wife had the French onion soup and I had the salad with Bleu cheese. Everything was phenomenal!!!
Becky was our server and she was really kind and friendly and was incredibly funny. She didn’t annoy us by asking how everything was every two minutes and she kept our drinks refilled. If you stop here, ask for her section.
The atmosphere was great. A classic diner that was extremely clean and very “at home” feel to it.
In conclusion I HIGHLY recommend stopping here when in the area. Even if you’re not it’s well worth the drive!!! 10 out of 10!!!

Clean, quiet and friendly with
Typical Diner decor and plenty of seating. The portions were large and the service was quick.
The food was average – my
italian sausage with onions and peppers over rice had been cooked too long or too many times – it was kind of mushy and not very flavorful.
To be fair I am basing this review on one item – if I’d had eggs it may have been better tasting.
I’d come here again to give them another look (maybe this was an off day).
A nice place with nice staff.

I had a fantastic experience at Milford Diner! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The service was prompt and attentive, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh and flavorful. I was especially impressed by the variety of omelets on the menu — so many unique options to choose from, each one better than the next. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. Overall, a great experience all around!

We’ve been going to this diner for several years now. We were always pleased with the food, except for the dessert. The cakes and pies leave a lot to be desired and taste old. We went to the diner for breakfast last week with 2 kids under the age of 12. They did not have a kids breakfast menu and our bill was therefore $75 for breakfast for 4 people. My son had a bagel with cream cheese and 2 scrambled eggs that cost us $15.75.

I was there yesterday. Ordered a full rack of baby ribs. I was given a half a rack of ribs and brought it to my severs attention incase it was a mistake and if it could just be altered to a half a rack charge. The owner/manager got loud with me about it said that it’s a full rack and they cut them and their chicken in half to cook. He then sat at the bar and didn’t look my tables way. Mynserver even confirmed it wasn’t a full rack and just shrugged her shoulders. The price wasn’t altered to reflect what I was served. Unprofessional, uninviting, false advertisement. Won’t be back.

I had been in the area a few years ago and stopped here every day to eat. Passing through again this year with friends I was so excited to take them there. We went there today and I was really embarrassed. It took a very long time to get our food and the restaurant was not busy. I ordered the salmon dinner with a baked potato and broccoli and salad. My salmon was way overcooked, my broccoli was cold, the potato was very small. The salad was a good size portion of iceberg lettuce with four cherry tomatoes, and two slices of cucumber and one slice of green pepper. I brought it home. I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with it. My friend ordered trout. She could not even eat it. She said it tasted bad. My other friend ordered the lasagna and he was very disappointed with the flavor and left most of it untouched. So very disappointing.

This dinner is clean, friendly, with fast service and delicious meals.
Stop here for breakfast I had fried eggs with bacon, grits and toast.
I like my eggs fried over hard and they were cook perfectly. Grits were flat wish I had ask with butter or something. Crispy bacon and my whole wheat toast I had it strawberry jelly and my coffee.
The location is perfect, right off the Main Street with ample parking. It looks crowded but parking lot it’s manageable.
Stop by!

Wow. Great food. The unexpected texture and flavor of the pancakes. Yes, I am a pancake snob and this place is one of my favorite spots. Even the pup enjoyed the visit. I will have breakfast here if I am within the 50-mile radius. Love this place.

Diner food seems to hit the spot while traveling.
My partner and I stopped at the Milford Diner on the way to NY and enjoyed our dinner. I ordered an American Cheese Grilled Cheese with Fries, and liked the sandwich and the fries.
My partner ordered a Baked Potato with a side dish of Broccoli and thought the broccoli was fantastic with a hint of garlic.
Our friends ordered fries and the Avocado Village Salad and enjoyed the fresh vegetables.
Overall, great service and the food was fine.

Even me being a New Yorker, I stopped here for breakfast before I attended to personal business in Milford. Soon as I walked through the door I was greeted, seated and treated very well. My server’s name was Jess and service was great. I was checked on in the middle of my amazing meal 3 times and I was very happy with my overall experience. I left happy with full stomach. It’s very rare that I’m in PA in general, and idk the next time I’ll be in Milford specifically, but whenever I am, I’ll be sure to stop by here again. My meal was $30 and left a $20 tip.
