Being from Sioux City, I had to check it out and compare to the original! The schooners are just as cold. I didn’t think the charlie boy was as spicy as they are in Sioux City and the bun was a little different too, but still delicious. The place was filled with a good mix of local regulars and tourists. Would definitely recommend.

We went here late night. Good sized local crowd, friendly bartenders, and their schooners are a respectably sized drink. Also really enjoyed the cheese balls and Carson sandwich. Would go again!

It’s not really my jam. Loud music next to bar. I’m sensitive to noises, though. But it is where I saw a lot of younger folk. Very busy! Bartending staff does an excellent job keeping up! It was a marvel to watch.

Bartenders were unfriendly and we always had to wait on drinks longer then we should have. We were from out of town looking for a nice place to have a drink and this place was recommended to us but never afain will i go there. Was made to feel very uncomfortable there. We wanted to watch a football game there but there was a Cubs game on so we felt unwelcomed by all. Would recommend this place to anybody and will never go there again. Service was poor ordered food but ended up having to wait for about an hour or longer for 6 wings then we still got charged for them. I give this place a

Love this place. The owners are awesome and it’s a great atmosphere to have some really cold schooners of beer and watch a football game or 2. The Charlie boys are sooo tasty! Definitely recommend this place.
