Strawberry butter! I’ve never heard of it, or had it for the matter, until we ate at Mile Marker 158, and it is interestingly good.
We showed up on a late Sunday and it was Bingo night. The place was full and I was sure there was going to be a wait. And I was wrong. The hostess immediately greeted us and took us back to a cozy booth in the back. Our waitress came and brought us water and dropped off the menus. She was very, very nice and friendly.
The menu consists of seafood, burgers and sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. I got The Burger, my wife got The House Salad with blackened chicken, and our daughter got a kids cheeseburger.
After we placed our order, the waitress brought us delicious, warm bread and strawberry butter. We had never tried that and were surprised! It tastes like strawberry ice cream and butter mixed. I enjoyed it myself!
My burger was delicious. The caramelized onions and garlic aoli sauce really took it up a new level! The raspberry vinegrette on my wifes salad was light and not overwhelming. The food came out incredibly fast, as well. I think our entire experience, from walking in to walking out, was only 30 minutes. The food was better than we could have imagined.
We will definitely come back if we visit this way again!

We enjoyed our visit and meal at Mile Marker 158. Set back, near the hotel and marina, it’s a nice little place with decent food. The service was quick and they were friendly. It was a weekday though, so not too busy. We had blackened grouper (a little too much spice, but good), and flounder with potatoes (hash browns on top). Not enough flounder flavor, but good. They had some other good choices on the menu as well. The best thing for us, was being right at the marina, so we can watch the boats and water. I do recommend this place and will return.

Mile Marker 158 is a hidden gem! The food is amazing. The bread that was brought out before our meal was wonderful. It was nice and warm and the strawberry butter, oh my! My husband and I enjoyed the fish of the day, grouper, with gouda smashed potatoes, green beans topped with lemon beurre blanc. My fish was grilled and my husband’s was blackened. The fish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The green beans were crisp and delicious. We shared a slice of key lime pie that was nice and tart, and had just the right amount of sweetness. You don’t want to miss this place. Melissa took excellent care of us.

This was the best meal we had while staying in Orange Beach. The seafood pasta was insane! Amazing key lime pie and great cocktails. We also had the calamari and Grouper and both were top notch! Our server Charlie was amazing as well!

Nice view of the water. Hidden gem in our book. We went during happy hour. Dozen oysters for $12. Drafts $4. Shrimp scampi $12. All the food was great. It’s not just the price, it is the food as well. Very tasty. At least the scampi. Either you love oysters or you hate them. I happen to love them.
We will be going back for sure.

My husband and I recently dined at Mile Marker 158 and had a mixed experience. The weather was great but a little windy, and the view of the marina was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive.
I ordered the fried grouper, which looked perfect with a golden brown crust, but it was a bit too salty for my taste. My husband had the beef tips over cheese-stuffed tortellini with a mushroom cream sauce, which he didn’t like.
The sides were mediocre — the gouda mashed potatoes were tasty but not served hot, and the green beans were unseasoned and bland. The salad, featuring mozzarella, grapes, pecans, and a vinaigrette dressing, was unique but I wouldn’t eat it again.
Overall, the view and ambiance were wonderful, and the service was great, but the food fell short of expectations. I recommend for the nice views, but not the food.

They have a GREAT happy hour! The server was superrr nice but I think he was new so he didn’t know a ton of info but the deals were fantastic. The oysters were $1, the shrimp scampi pasta was only $12 and so good. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely come back if in town!

We were able to sit outside facing the boats and water. All three of us had a drink, Cosmo, Sunset Martini, and a glass of wine. My sister in law and I had the Mahi which was delicious with the risotto. My husband had the surf and turf which was filet mingon and a crab cake. We all really enjoyed our food. We split the Key Lime Pie for dessert.
Our waitress was fantastic and checked on us numerous times. I could not take any more fried seafood which seemed to be mostly on every restaurants menu. We all couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

Nice small waterfront restaurant. We had the raw oysters, a rum runner, loaded tots and both had the lasagna special. The special was $14.99 and came with a large piece of lasagna, salad, bread and choice of wine or draft beer. The loaded tots were $12 and a very small portion for an appetizer. The rum runner was $18 and not that great. The lasagna special was great. And our waitress was awesome. Food came quickly. I highly recommend the Wednesday lasagna special.

Great experience and awesome food. We came early for dinner-around 430/5. They have an amazing special – $1 oysters. They were great- nice and big! Everything we got was wonderful. We tried the calamari which was very good. Then for dinner we had the salmon, pineapple mahi, burger, and the ponchartrain – everything was amazing!!!! Service was great. One of us gets a burger everywhere- and this was by far the best one this vacation. Would highly recommend this place.
