I’ve been going to Milanos for 18 years now and I love their food. I always get the marinated beef strips and they are so delicious! My kids love the marinated chicken strips, and they have the best ranch dressing that I’ve ever came across. We always ask for Sandy to wait on us. She is so sweet and a terrific waitress. I’ve been a.waitress for over 20 years and I would hire her without a single bit of hesitation, she’s amazing!

Also, they kept it traditional and comfy design interior as good as it should.
Has enough light and a cozy place.
You always have a good feeling after having your whole meal since they make all from scratch ingredients.

2 salads with blue cheese dressing. Says homemade on menu. Watery with very little flavor. One with Italian dressing. Very good. Veal parmesan tasted like frozen patties with the same sauce that comes from a can of spaghetti-O’s. Chicken Parmesan same nasty “Chef Boyardee” sauce and chunks of plain chicken. Are one bite and that was it. Waitress finally checked on us. We told her respectfully the worst Italian food we had ever had. She stated she definitely wouldn’t eat it. Great! She left us and never came back. Thought she would at least ask if we wanted dessert. We expected to at least have someone come speak to us. Didn’t happen. Finally asked a passing waiter for it check. Had to go to register to pay. We left hungry and miffed. Terrible experience. Paid full bill plus 18% tip. Not even a thank you. Will never go here again and have already shared this experience with our co workers.

He showed me how they are making Alfredo sauce with butter and other ingredients every day or 2

Great Italian food, amazing service!
All of my food came out great, enjoyed every single bites of it. Ranch dressing for salad is a must here. Though I did order cheese bread and it was literally slices of cheese on top of warm bread. I’d not get it next time.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. They have the best chicken piccata. I cannot find a better one elsewhere, and believe me, I’ve tried. Their salads are cold and crisp. The bleu cheese dressing is to die for. The service is always fast and friendly. The interior is clean but dated. If you’re in Gastonia, give them a try!

First I will say Milano have a good reputation in Gastonia. However my experience yesterday was awful. We ordered baked chicken parmesan the chicken was tough. The sauce taste like sauce from a can We complained and they replaced with fried that was actually a pattie with what taste like can sauce. My sister was unhappy with her lasagna. Lastly my daughter was up all night sick from the her food. I’m simply sharing my experience on yesterday.

Pasta sauce was straight out of a name brand can. Salad dressing was either too watery or too peppery. The protein was frozen. Server only came to the table once to check how our experience was. When we addressed our experience we weren’t offered a remedy of any kind.

Overall, I had a good experience. Our server was shy but attentive. He check on us multiple times and made sure we had enough to eat/drink. The appetizer we got was basically a hoagie bun covered in cheese. In the menu, it was called cheesy bread. So technically, it is that, but we were expecting something else. The salad was good. The pasta was decent but the tortilleni was a little over cooked. We also had to ask for a different marina sauce because the one they used automatically had meat in it. So there were definitely vegetarian options but you had to ask for substitutions.
