My husband and I went for a date night without the kids and the food was really good! It was a very inviting atmosphere for everyone including families. Service was also good. The homemade bread was great, we got the chicken piccata and the chicken parm with tiramisu for dessert and fried ravioli for an appetizer. We also brought our own wine and paid the very reasonable corking fee. Serving sizes were huge and there was enough to take home leftovers. Our meals were delicious and we will definitely be back soon possibly with the kiddos. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Food was decent! This was the 2nd day they were open so they still have some kinks to work out. This is in the old Pour House location. They had no hostess, and no one took our names down even though there were people waiting to sit. There was confusion because we really didn’t know what was going on and everyone was busy. 2 couples left after waiting a bit. We were finally seated after about 10 minutes. I ordered the Canneloni, my wife ordered the Mannicotti. When the waiter brought it to the table he said, “I don’t know which one is which – you’ll have to figure it out.” Lol lol that was different…I personally thought the portions were too small, I paid $5 for an extra Ceaser salad with my meal, it came in a very small bowl with no croutons.. I noticed they offer bottle service with a cork fee of $5.

Cozy resturant you would never expect to find in Tuscumbia, AL. The best Italian food i have ever ate. The cannelloni was rich but not overpowering the flavors perfectly balanced. The fettuccine was incredible the sauce was perfectly flavored and the noodles were dense and flavorful. Finally, we finished off the night with a cannoli. This cannoli was sweet and light. All and all get to this restaurant while’s it’s still not a two hour wait. Because this restaurant is going places.

This is my FAVORITE place ever! The food is amazing and the homemade bread is crazy delicious. We have to go here at least once a week. Prices are reasonable, restaurant is very clean and the service is awesome. I could eat here every single day, just ask my husband. lol.

We had a delicious meal here. Started out with the meatball appetizer and the complimentary rolls, which were both good.
I had the Lasagna, it had great taste. It is served in a boat dish with plenty of meat & cheese, not a traditional free-standing slice. I would certainly order it again!
My wife had the Chicken Piccata and it was fantastic! Exactly how we like it, the sauce flavor was perfect.
Definitely would recommend this cozy place.

We had a late lunch there on Friday afternoon. Only one other table was occupied, so we got full attention from two waiters. I had the very best eggplant Parmesan I’ve ever tasted. The chef really knew how to cook eggplant. My husband had the manicotti which he thought was good but had more cheese than he liked. The small Caesar salad was crisp and fresh and we both liked it. The rolls were especially yummy. Folks in Tuscumbia are fortunate to have this restaurant downtown. I hope they get a liquor license and serve spritzes.

This was our first visit (late lunch just before 3PM on Wednesday). Upon entering we were the only patrons there; no one greeted us or knew that we had entered until we said “Hello!” Nice waiter who provided quick and pleasant service. We ordered from the lunch menu (11 AM-3PM): tossed salads, baked lasagna, spaghetti & meatballs. The portions were more than ample for lunch or dinner. The entrees were hot with an OK taste, just not above average. (We decided that we have “done this, but don’t have to do it again.”) The decor/atmosphere was a bit dark with a minimalist tone with small metal chairs.
The menu was extensive with some items that I’m sure would be good, but this was just not our preferred taste. We’re are glad that we “gave it a try.”
Note: We did have a pleasant and interesting conversation with another diner who came in several minutes after we did. During the conversation, we learned that we had met before, thus discussing some past experiences.

Lobster ravioli and chicken Parmesan were our choices. My fiance had the ravioli and it was ok. Pretty sure it wasn’t homemade. My chicken parm tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. Chicken was tough and dry and spaghetti was tasteless. We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant mainly because we were the only customers there. Food came out relatively fast, but forget about a drink refill because the waiter has discovered his phone has videos.

I hate to give a bad review to this restaurant because Tuscumbia really needs good places to eat but….we had eggplant and chicken parmigiana both were not good at all. The portions on both plates were lunch size and our bill was extremely high even though we both had water. No salad was included. The inside was very dark and not appealing…quality and quantity a Rip Off.

I had the Grandma’s Lasgna. It was the best lasagna I have had in the Shoals! My Grandmother had the Chicken Fettuccine. The calamari was a bit spicy so warning if you can’t handle spice. My mom had the Spaghetti and said is was really good. She is a picky eater but she said she couldn’t put the fork down! She said she now has a favorite Italian place and it’s a bonus it’s in Tuscumbia. Tuscumbia is fortunate to have this authentic Italian restaurant! Molto Bene!
