They make some of the best old fashioned cocktails! Apparently they’re quite popular for them. The food was excellent. Service wise, couldn’t ask for more.

Tried this place Friday night, and unfortunately, it just wasn’t hit for us. We should have known, when we arrived and the place was dead on a Friday night. Started with an order of the mozzarella sticks. We were expecting crispy, flavorful, homemade mozzarella sticks, as they came highly recommended by our server. They were soft, non crispy, store bought, frozen sticks with no flavor. We then ordered an Old Fashion and a prosecco… old fashion was sweet and too red in color. The prosecco was old and flat. For our entrees, we ordered the chicken parmesean with a side of broccoli and the Milano’s Favorite pasta and added the suggested shrimp. Portions were great, but both dishes lacked a wow factor and seasoning. Overall for $72 before tip, we left highly disappointed and wasted a lot of food. Wasn’t worth taking it home!

Food was good but very oily. Service could have been a little better. Waiter rarely checked in. Never came by before or after the entrees to refill our drinks.

We walked in and the hostess asked if we had a reservation. We said no, and she made a face like we had done something wrong and then said she might be able to get us in. Then her and another hostess talked amongst themselves never looking at us or communicating with us until they sat us – both of them seemed annoyed. By the way, it wasn’t busy at all. We almost walked right out and I wish we had, I’ve never had such an unwelcoming experience at a restaurant in my entire life. If we need a reservation fine, tell us and we’ll find somewhere else, and if not then why the attitude?

Wanted to give it 5 stars but being an Italian American from the northeast I am pretty demanding and particular. Food and service was excellent. The appetizers and desserts are the highlight. Entrees were really good but something was missing. More true Italian selections would be nice. Trying too hard to cater to everyone. No need, this really is the ONLY decent Italian restaurant in Murfreesboro. And no, Marina’s doesn’t count. Priced reasonably. Nice ambiance.

Had an awesome meal at Milano II & Jack’s place tonight…simply fantastic. Sat at the bar and Sam (who I later found out is the owners son) who got me set up with a beer and some hot baked bread. I started off with some Bruschetta (very good) and ordered the blackened grouper topped with shrimp and a creamy sundried pesto sauce with some pasta and roasted red potatoes. This dish is incredible…some of the best fish I’ve had in a very long time. The seasoning used to blacken the grouper wasn’t overpowering and really complimented the creamy pesto sauce. Sam was a great host and I really enjoyed our conversation along with meeting his Dad and the owner Jack. Been a long time since I visited this spot but I will be back to enjoy some other dishes here.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I’ve had bad luck with Italian lately and was craving some good Italian food. I had the Chicken Milano, and my daughter had the Lasagne. It was fresh, flavorful, and very good. The Tiramsu was ok. The service was solid, the waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was dated and could use some paint and overall refreshing of the decor. Otherwise, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend giving this place a try.
