I’ve lived in Round Rock a few years and dickeys was my GO To BBQ spot. I haven’t been in a while bc the last couple of times we ordered online they canceled out order due to running out of whatever we ordered. And didnt get our money back for 5-7 business days. Apparently their portion size dropped..probably considering they used to run out of food. We paid $38 for kids meal portions. The brisket was 2 slices of fat and the chicken was like 2 oversized nuggets. The chicken was so dry! And the fries…lol you can count. We got charged a “renew/recycle program” fee no clue why…we were gonna order drinks but no ice. It is hot as hell inside the building and outside, we’re in TEXAS…It’s like 103° today…I called to ask if the portion size changed and basically wanted more food or my money back for one of the meals. And the “manager” said to return the food for our money back. I worked in the service industry for years and have never responded to a complaint like that. I weighed out the meat and it was .7lbs of brisket .3lbs of actual meat. The chicken was .8lbs smh…the mac n cheese was beyond minimal…never going back. I would return the food but I don’t want to be rude to someone just “doing their job” it’s a waste of time and money…go to Bill miller’s lol

Orders the 3 meat plate and the brisket plate. Asked for sliced brisket and got chopped. Saw the advertisement photo so we were expecting to see the same portion size. Our food looked nothing like the advertisement and the portion sizes were extremely small. No pickles or onions to go with our meal.
Got home and tasted the food and the meat was extremely dry and hint or taste of BBQ. Our sides were Mac and cheese and potatoe salad. We had to season the watery Mac n cheese which hardly helped. The cheese had a funny after taste.
This was our first time and we were very disappointed.

The Best BBQ I’ve had in a while. Very surprised with how tasty it was. I had the Baker with meat and it was the most flavorful and nicely put together. The brisket mac with decent and the brisket chili was delicious also. The smoke flavor on the meat is sooo good!!!

Found a rock/black pebble inside my meat – unreal but true. Almost broke my tooth.
Didn’t make a fuzz about it. Simply told the waitress. She was happy to take the brisket away with an apology. Replaced the brisket.
Proceeded to eat and found a hair outside my plate … hmmm… I eat a questionable places so this doesn’t quite faze me. But if you don’t have a stomach for this sort of stuff – can’t blame you. Here is why.
The quality of food: Not good.
1. Chicken: Dry and inert – no real juiciness or even a good flavor. Chicken tends to run dry but this was another level.
2. Brisket: Good color. No smokiness or flavor and dry as heck too.
3. Beans – not BBQ but nah alright
4. Portions – don’t expect much – not generous

The food is trash! I do say the worst Dickey’s… I wasted $20. For slop the meat taste like it was washed after cooking and the potato casserole was potato soup.. the ribs bones consist of two baby backs minus the meat! Absolutely gross!!!

Great bbq. Tender never dried out meat. Even the fat on the brisket is wonderful. All the employees are very friendly . I usually get the family pack. It says will feed 6 which I believe is a bit of a stretch. It would feed 3 maybe 4 depending on how hungry your family is. But I always buy extra so we can also enjoy some the next day. Better prices by far compared to other BBQ places I’ve tried.

I happened to be in the area so I picked up a 3 meat plate from a T-Mobile promotion. The portions are small for $19. And what are these two clumps of chicken? Chicken breast doesn’t look like this and this isn’t what they advertise in their pictures. All the meat was dry and overcooked. I arrived early for my pickup and it was already waiting for who knows how long in the heating box. And there were no customers there while Pita Fusion next door was packed. Womp womp ☹️

Worst baked potatoes and meat 8ve ever paid 13$ for…came with hardly any meat on it at all and the meat it did come with was 90% fat…unbeatable garbage!! Second pic is after I separated all the solid fat from my potato…even less meat on it…so i spent 14$ for a baked potato…rediculous!! Stay away from here!!

I would’ve liked to say “eat your heart out” but there’s not much to feast on. $18 on a three meat plate and this is what you get. I’m sorry, I feel ripped off. We called to make sure the portion size were correct and was told “3oz of meat for each”. So, 2 pieces of brisket and 6 pieces of sausage is what you get. Not worth the money for the portions and it’s not very flavorful for what you pay for either. What a let down!!
