My family and I have been coming here for years where the only issue was a wait time (for a seat, for the chef, etc ). Some nights are faster than others.
We just walked out tonight because the server insisted we HAD to order certain meal types if we’re sitting at the grill, which must be some new policy. We have people in our family who are allergic to mushrooms and eggs, so they order a la carte or sushi to avoid cross contamination while still eating with us. If we’re still ordering from your restaurant, and some of us were ordering hibachi, I don’t see why it matters.
I guess we won’t be coming back unless the owner replies that they’ve fixed this policy.

Your dining experience depends on the skills and humor of the hibachi chef! The food portions were ample but I would have liked more vegetables and less noodle & rice.

The best takeout deal in town in my opinion, where else can you get absolutely delicious freshly made food for $10 these days? I used to come here weekly when I was stationed at Fort Bragg, recently visited again and eat here a few times and the hibachi chicken with Yum Yum sauce is just absolutely to die for in my opinion. Still rocks. So tasty savory, such a great deal and a good size portion.

Went here for my son’s birthday and it was one of the worst habachi experiences we have had. It took an hour before the chef came out to start cooking. When he finally came out and started cooking there was absolutely no show. My kid kept asking for stuff and the only thing the chef did was a volcano right before he cleaned the cooktop. He didn’t even interact with us until another cook came out for another table and did a show and was talking with his people. At that point our chef asked one question and went back silent. Now to the food. Everything he cooked was near being burnt and he never adjusted the temp in the cooktop. Shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, vegetables were mushy, teriyaki chicken was so gummy that it was inedible. One item was cooked at a time so most of my party had a clear plate by the time the next item started to be cooked. Again worst experience I wouldn’t waste your money and time.

Straight to the toilet following leaving this establishment. The hibachi was riddled with too much oil. Each portion cooked had no flavor or seasoning and was dumped on your plate. If you’ve ever done hibachi, and liked it, I don’t recommend this place.

Not bad I’ve been here a couple times with my family, it depends on the day but sometimes the wait is long and sometimes it isn’t which I am fine with because I love the food there. I would say the service is alright, the host is very nice and friendly, and my server was funny. The chefs came out a bit later and we had to share are table with another party but I don’t mind. She chef was funny and very nice. But overall it was fun, the food was good and the service.

I’ve been eating here since I was pregnant with my son and he is now 4. We hadn’t been in a while but usually when me him and his dad would go I wouldn’t order my son anything because he’s autistic and he has a texture issue. I was profiled from the minute I walked in the building. These stigmas about black women have to stop. Everything was a discussion. My waitress started off bringing me cold soup. Didn’t introduce herself. Just walked out.. sat it down, asked me how old was my son and walked off. She needs to be retrained btw. So I place my order for just myself and add extra zucchini extra rice. She comes back with a waitress and says it will be a 10$ charge for a shared plate. The price isn’t the issue. I’ve been here 100 times. I’ve never heard that. Not for a toddler who isn’t gonna eat at all. My baby has ate nothing but zucchini maybe 10 times. It’s more about the experience for my baby. They tell me if I want something cheaper I can sit on the other side and not see the food be cooked. So I ordered him a meal anyway even though my baby doesn’t even eat MEAT. He never touched the food not once but I was watched the whole entire time and I was still very respectful, still tipped & all the things. Even though my salad sat on the table the whole time I ate. My drink was watered down because she never came to refill it and I still had to leave and go buy my baby food from somewhere else. She never came to check on me or my baby after that interaction. She messed up her own tip. Let’s stop profiling and definitely not your own people. Chef was awesome. Always so kind and humble. The CHEF is why I’m giving you guys a 2. The best hibachi spot in town has turned into the last one I will be going to here & I spend probably 100$ a day on nothing so it wasn’t about money. It’s about principle. Everybody knew when I was leaving that my baby never touched the food. My waitress didn’t upset me she was doing her job and being coached. Her service was just bad.

Waited over 1 Hour + 15 minutes for chef, over 2 hours + 39 minutes in total before we left due to poor staff and management. Mind you, we have a 11 months baby that could not sit still for 2 hours + 39 minutes. I had to go to the fish tank (that’s not been cleaned nor the fish have been fed mind you) multiple times throughout the evening.
Arrived: 6:32 pm
Left: 9:01 pm
Had no refills on drinks while chef cooked. Chef had to go get waitress to give us refills, another waitress had to come out to help. Our server, no where to be found.
When checking out, took over 30 minutes for us to pay our bill due to waitress being new and unable to work the system. Orders were scrambled and the customers had to breakdown the orders multiple times before the manager came out to help.
I requested a discount due to the poor service. I was denied a discount since my “food was not an issue.” Poor Management. STAY AWAY! We have given this local restaurant multiple chances, however they continue to have staff not trained and continue to loose staff due to management.
Asked for owner, no one came out. Only rude staff managers.
