Japanese food here is delicious, fresh, and flavorful, with generous portions. However, the service feels a bit too routine and robotic. After our food arrived, I was checked on five times by different staff members within just five minutes, which was quite distracting, honestly. This aspect definitely needs improvement. Overall, the food is great, but the staff should be more on customer understanding

We walked in on a Monday at 7 for an early dinner. I wanted both seating and the hostess quickly picked that up. She hurriedly cleaned up the only one available and we appreciate that.
We took a while to decide our order and servers kept approaching us asking if we’re ready- 5 times in 10 minutes so I felt hurried but we took our time. There was a lot to choose from.
Great promo that happy hour starts at 2:30pm-close. Good time to try different creations.
After ordering, the food came out pretty quickly, literally hot like straight from the pan so that is certainly an A+ for freshness. Add the freshly prepared rolls and that right there is an awesome experience. Food tasted great, hands down.
Staff was very attentive and personable. They all seem happy to be working there. They greeted as we were came in and surprisingly, on our way out. Even those preparing the sushi waved at us and bid us a good night. That’s customer service!
Highly recommend to anyone looking for Japanese today to check this place out. Overall great experience.

After shopping around all day, we were getting hangry. It was around lunch time, and we saw this spot offered happy hour.
Parking: This spot is located along side West Covina Mall. We visited on a Saturday, so parking was a challenge.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a large space with plenty of indoor seating and a decent amount of outdoor seating. Outdoor seating has heaters. Perfect for groups of all sizes. There’s an open kitchen, and the place is very clean.
Service: There were many servers that assisted us. Unfortunately we didn’t catch any of their names, but everyone was attentive, quick, & efficient!

Their fish was absolutely FRESH! The Brussels sprouts were seasoned well. Their specialty cocktails were sweet and aesthetic. The sauce from the salmon carpaccio was flavorful. My favorites were the bluefin premium sushi! Can’t beat this price for bluefin anywhere! Presentation was also beautifully plated and garnished with a flower.
Pricing: Absolutely worth every bite! We left fulfilled and not hangry anymore lol. Such an affordable price for sushi. Highly recommend their happy hour!

Their menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, such as sushis, sashimi, rolls, bento boxes, grilled items, appetizers, and ramen. They also provide a good selection of cocktails, sakes, sojus, and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, they offer lunch special (open-2:30) combinations and happy hour (2:30- 5:30 on weekends or close on weekdays) for a great value. My friend and me ordered their sashimi, sushi, tempura, and rolls. We really enjoyed the chef’s special Scottish wrap, the citrus lemon salmon roll, and the mango special roll. The interior of the restaurant is clean and spacious. The servers were attentive and friendly. This is a great spot to grab a bite or enjoy happy hour and catch up with friends!

We had dinner here on Friday. There is a lot of parking since it is part of the mall. The inside of the restaurant is warm and inviting.
They offer Happy Hour every day of the week. Lots of great drink and food options. We got two delicious cocktails and an order of nigiri. The sashimi quality is amazing.
We also got some infused soju shots. For $5 a shot you get to roll a dice and the number matches with a flavor. They mix it for you and bring you the shot.
Their promotional item right now is a $90 sushi boat for 3 to 4 people. It comes with 6 rolls and tempura. My friend and I ate it all. Everything roll was fresh and flavorful.

My sister has been telling me for months that this was her favorite sushi spot, so I finally gave it a try and was so pleasantly surprised! Everything from the sashimi to the rolls to even the tempura tasted so fresh and high-quality. I was really impressed with the Mikomi Tartare and the Citrus Salmon Roll. Both so fresh and bursting with flavor! Be sure to stop by for some of the best sushi SGV has to offer!

The food is really good, but I think thus restaurant is good mainly for couples and smaller families/parties due to lack of space. Our party if approx 18 was split between 4 tables and nobody faced one another. Also, it was a work function and they only allowed 3 separate checks per person resulting in a zelle/venmo scramble as we raced to add each other to our respective banks to send/receive money.

This is my second time dining here. I had a great experience last time, so I came back again. However, this time a female server was carrying my son’s salmon nigiri while walking, shaking the plate (up and down), and talking along the way… When the food reached our table, I honestly felt disgusted! She wasn’t the server assigned to our table—the one who was responsible for us did a great job, very polite and friendly, and didn’t make us feel uncomfortable at all.
