Just had the chirashi don, spicy ramen, and yellowtail kama, and every dish was absolutely great. The flavors were well balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were very satisfying. On top of that, the waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely come back again.

We had a fun girls night out. We loved the rolls we got. The twister was delicious. I loved the sweet potato shavings on it. The deep fried Philly and one other roll I can’t recall it’s name was really good. I love the seaweed salad, my friend dint care for it. The tofu was also really good. We wanted hot tea and at first were told by our server they were sold out, but then he returned to sat they had it. We ordered 2. Bummed we did because it wasn’t our thing. Took 2 sips and didn’t drink it. A little earthy for our tastes. If you like that though it may be great. We will go back here soon.

My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary tonight and it was absolutely amazing. The staff, the FOOD, the appearance. Everything perfect. I’ve never had better and softer sashimi in my life. The manager was so cute and sweet. She gave us a dessert for our anniversary. Will definitely be back!

My family of 5 came in for a late lunch and loved it!! We had the gyoza, garlic edamame, stuffed jalapeños, Escondido roll, Surf roll, Chicken katsu, Spicy tonkotsu ramen, and tempura ice cream. Everything was delicious, but the ramen and rolls, in particular, were some of the best we’ve ever had. The service was also great – the timing of the food coming out couldn’t have been better, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about providing recommendations. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend!

Omg!!! This place was beyond amazing. Not only do they have an extensive gluten-free menu available, But they’re also incredibly friendly, and professional. The chef even caught one of the items that was listed on the gluten-free menu, had been recently changed, and was no longer safe. I absolutely appreciate the due diligence for my concern.
I had the yakisoba with gluten free noodles, which typically, for gluten-free does not come with a sauce. But their black miso glaze that they use on their salmon, was an absolutely perfect substitute. The flavor was incredible, as was everything else.

My girlfriend and I noticed that they were building Mikko Sushi on Grand a few weeks ago. Yesterday we decided to try it out. I must say, the decor was simple and clean. Everything visually was pleasing. The Entire staff was quick to greet us upon entering the restaurant. We sat down and almost immediately met with regular menus and a happy hour menu and they were taking our drink order simultaneously. We order 5 rolls and waited. The rolls were made by extremely fresh quality ingredients. I was overjoyed how great the rolls tasted and how fresh everything was. I would recommend this place 10/10. We will definitely be coming back. Happy hour prices were very reasonable.
My only tip is to go during happy hour between 4pm and 6pm. You will be glad you did when you recieve the bill and notice a difference in price.

My favorite place for sushi! Very convenient, clean, typically quick service. Big fan of the Escondido location- and also Vista. Both in downtown and very comfortable and welcoming setting. I really enjoy all their rolls and Miso chicken Ramen. Thank you for your great service Mikko Sushi!
