When planning an out of state wedding, it is tough to know what the locals know… who makes delicious cakes? But thankfully Mikkelsen’s was recommended to us, and we were very happy to find them and Elizabeth who was very kind and helped us create a classic and scrumptious vanilla cake with raspberry mousse and fresh raspberries. We had so many guests discussing that cake! Everyone was telling us it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. I was thinking about it the next day and wanted another piece! LOL!
I was also very pleased that they were flexible with the monogram that we designed for the cake and they did a beautiful job with it! If you want a yummy cake, Mikkelsen’s is your place!

Omg, this was my first time visiting this incredible bakery, and I’m beyond impressed! I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake, and it was absolutely amazing — we all loved it! The texture and chocolate flavor were perfection.
When I went back the second time, I tried their sourdough bread, and it was deliciously good! I won’t even start on all the bakery treats we couldn’t resist — everything was just too good.

Called in at 2:44 attempting to get a last minute birthday cake as we had gotten off a cruise, and at 4:40 this expertly crafted cake was finished.
I am beyond happy with it, and one of the best German chocolate cakes we have ever tried! Very much recommend, so grateful for the last minute get in, and the beautiful craftsmanship in this cake! We will be back!

Mikkelsen’s is fantastic when it comes to bakery and custom cake needs! Recently I had them create a bourbon themed cake for my husband’s 40th birthday and the whole party was blown away. Price point was more than fair for the level of detail produced. They delivered exactly what I was looking for! The cake was the talk of the party and it tasted delicious! I had an outstanding experience with them from the moment we talked about design until the moment it was unboxed at the party. 10/10!!!!

Just had one of the best Quiche Tart I have ever had. Croissants are so tasty too. We regularly visit Mikkelsons as the are across the street from Empowered Global. We highly recommend this establishment. The muffins are also the best in town.

I was born and raised from Miami and moved to Naples about a year ago. Every year I order a Pavlova Cake with strawberries on top, walnut meringue, whip cream, dulce de leche middle base and graham cracker crumbs. I hoped Mikkelson’s would be able to recreate it, and they went above that. They made me travel back in time to the first moment I tried this cake a few years ago. I am beyond grateful and will be ordering this moving forward for each celebration.
