The food here is good. I really enjoyed it. I noticed i got full really fast. I think this plate is perfect for 2 people to share and eat your body will appreciate it. I honestly got full eating just 1/3 of this plate. I am not sure if its just me or food is too much for me to eat. The milk tea was ok. I appreciate the service here .

Such a good experience !
I’m thankfull I got to meet that lady during my short trip in LA. Such a breath of fresh air and a lovely experience.
She is patient and welcoming and the food is great ! I mean, just enter the shop and you’ll know you’ll be eating good tonight.
The portions are huge for the price too. We did 1 serving for both me and my sister, it was perfect. ▶️ 15$ ! That’s it !
If I lived here, this would be my go-to for sure.

When I worked nearby, this was always a top choice for a quick lunch. Now, if I’m in the area and hungry, I’ll stop by. You get a lot of food for the money, and it is delicious. The teriyaki chicken plate, in particular, is excellent. Maybe some of the best I’ve had that’s not homemade. The place is nothing fancy, probably not a place you want to go to if you care more about the aesthetics of where you eat, as it is more of a hole in the wall place with just a few tables. It is mostly for to go orders. But if you care about good food, this is a good choice, especially considering the other choices in the plaza.

I’m not someone who reviews places often but this time I felt the need to because of how put off I was by my visit. I’m not sure if it was the owner who was serving me but the woman was very passive aggressive and was not helpful when I had questions. Nothing is labeled on the steam table and I tried asking what some items were and she wouldn’t answer until I kept repeating my question and pointing at the items. I also ordered milk teas and was given some kind of smoothies with hard boba. When I asked if they were the milk teas I asked for, because they very obviously looked like slushies/smoothies, she said that was what I ordered and that smoothies were different (is it not a blended drink?). I was under the impression that when I asked for them “milk tea style” I would receive iced drinks not blended ones. Additionally, she was acting very rudely to the customer that was after me because he, too, had questions about the items available on the table. She eventually refused to service him unless he paid for the items first (he hadn’t even picked anything out yet). I left after receiving my items because I didn’t feel like dealing with someone so argumentative and unwilling to be hospitable and helpful. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment, especially if it’s your first time visiting!

This place has been open for years. I used to come to this place a lot when I was in high school nearly 20 years ago and the food has always been great. There’s a reason why this place is still open and has not gone under new management. It’s because the food is phenomenal and the service is great..

These people are so nice and have been doing this for so long. They know how to make good food. They gave me so much I couldn’t even finish it haha!

The price for one plate made 2 meals that I had to take the rest home. Affordable, sweet people, and good food. What more could you ask for. I highly recommend and will be back 🙂

So we saw a review done by “Grub with Greg”, a guy we follow on Instagram. Usually, the foods he reviews look amazing – which was the case with Miki Chan’s.

Well, we were kinda disappointed from the moment we walked in. The place was kinda dingy looking, crates stacked at the entrance, and chairs lined up to keep you away from the glass case where the foods were.

Some of the foods that were recommended by Grub with Greg didn’t look very fresh – like they had been sitting for a little while – like the ribs, which I was looking forward to trying, but they didn’t look very appealing. We ended up getting a two item meal with the Hawaiian noodles with pork, the BBQ pork and teriyaki chicken. I also got a side of orange chicken and a chicken eggroll — our food came to 18 dollars and change.

The noodles were just ok, the BBQ pork was disappointing since it really looked good, but it was so dry, the teriyaki chicken was tasty and not dry, and the orange chicken was just ok. The chicken egg roll was just ok – I didn’t really notice chicken – it did had a strong ginger flavor though.

We picked up our food around 7pm – possibly if you get there earlier, the food might be a little fresher. It seems that people like this place, so I guess we just caught them at an off time.

The lady behind the counter was very nice! I really wanted this food to be amazing because she was so sweet! Kinda bummed it was such a disappointment!
