The food at Mike and Mel’s is absolutely delicious—pure comfort and flavor every single time! We’ve been coming here for about a year now, and whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or brunch, they never miss.
Our server Taylor was gracious, attentive, and made the experience even better. I had the half tuna fish sandwich paired with a bowl of tomato bisque, and it was chef’s kiss—perfectly satisfying and full of flavor.
And Lori… amazing doesn’t even begin to cover it. Her smile, warmth, and genuine kindness are a big reason my wife and I keep coming back again and again. She makes you feel like family the moment you walk in.
Do yourself a favor and give Mike and Mel’s a try—you’ll be back, guaranteed! ️✨

This is now our go to breakfast and brunch place. The service was lovely and quick. The food was unbelievably good. I honestly can’t wait to go back and try another meal. The pickle bar was the reason we originally came and it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was family friendly, clean and lovely. Cannot recommend more highly.

Definitely one of my favorite spots when it comes to kosher style deli. They have the most amazing moist and delicious corn, beef, pastrami, and turkey. It literally melts in your mouth and not to mention they’re matzoh ball and chicken noodle soup. Definitely something you should try. From what I understand they opened a new location in DC. Both are worth visiting.

What a wonderful place! The food at Mikey & Mel’s is delicious, with portions that are beyond generous. One of my items was a matzo ball soup—the small size—and I swear, that matzo ball (done just right) was the size of my cat’s head!
I got Kugel (so satisfying) to take home, and the portion was so big it lasted 5 days! The pickle bar was cool! Great pickles…and all you can eat.
The staff is amazing! Super attentive, bringing you your ordered items, checking in with you, removing dishes when done. It was clear to me that they were genuinely interested in making sure diners were happy. Matt was especially attentive and helpful. A really fantastic group of people working there!
I live an hour away, and am already planning my next visit to Mikey & Mel’s.

Delicious food. I’ve only had the corned beef hash. But it has been consistently good. Flavorful. Lori is an Angel.

I’ve walked into this deli several times and it never felt right. But I tried it for breakfast this week because it was the only place I could still get breakfast in the area. One thing I don’t like are the ordering kiosks. (Yes, I’m sure they save a lot of money.). They’re OK for take out, but when dining in I would prefer to be served at a table by a person. I found the kiosk difficult to maneuver and I could not figure out how to order jam with my bagel. The people working there looked like they had no interest in acknowledging me or helping me. When I asked the cashier about getting some jam, she just shouted out “Jam for #12” as if I were bothering her. The server who brought my food was nice. As for the food, the omelette was OK and the bagel was good. I wish I liked this place because there is a shortage of good delis, but I probably won’t be going back to this one. Sorry.

It was a busy Sunday, but my party of 5 was able to be seated right away at a high top table. I ordered a ham, egg and cheese sandwich on challah with a side of home fries (spicy and flavorful) and the pickle bar(my happy place). They don’t skimp on the fillings. Even though it technically wasn’t an overstuffed sandwich, there was a good amount of ham and egg. I made multiple trips to the pickle bar for beets and dill spears. Definitely worth going to for a filling reasonably priced breakfast.
