We ate at Mike’s Trackside Barbecue in Blue Ridge, Georgia, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. My 12-year-old said the ribs were a solid 10 out of 10, and I have to agree—they were tender, smoky, and delicious. We tried a variety of barbecue dishes, and everything was outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere is friendly, and it’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for authentic Southern barbecue in the North Georgia mountains. Highly recommend Mike’s Trackside Barbecue to anyone visiting Blue Ridge!

We’re fairly new to the area and are making our rounds of restaurants within 30 minutes of our Ducktown, TN home. Mike’s Trackside BBQ is in Morganton, GA, a small mountain town within that radius. This place is a little gem! Nostalgic decor, friendly service and smoky barbecue. The house made sauces are warm when they come to the table, which is nice because it doesn’t cool your food too much. I had the brisket plate with green beans and baked beans, and loved my meal, except the green beans which were too salty for me. The baked beans were delicious, and loaded with pork. The brisket was as tender as can be. My husband ate every bit of his wings and combo plate, relishing every bite. Our server was very helpful and kept our drinks topped off, even to the point of a refill to go at the end of the meal. We had ordered the brisket chili to share from the specials board, and ended up taking it home for later. The food was fresh and hot, the service was very good, and it was a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. This one is definitely on our “we’ll be back” list.

I have lived in 4 states (Texas, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia) and this place is arguably has the best Brisket I have ever tired. The Brisket platter is my suggestion, trust me you will thank me.
The Ribs are what I wanted to try but they were out. I will be back to try em another day.
I also got to try the wings and the 4 wing meal is big enough. I know it doesn’t sound like a meal but trust me it is.
Here is the best part the food is so well seasoned and so flavorful that you don’t need any sauce.

First time there. Very cozy place, no wait time for table. Very kind folks there. Shared a plate of great barbeque chicken, baked beans were good and coke slaw was sweet and good. Garlic toast was pretty good also. And, the baked apples made a wonderful dessert!!

We had an awesome waitress. My son ordered the loaded tots and she realized the chili was too spicy for him and she brought him some “naked “ tots. I had the pulled bbq pork with the potato salad and it was awesome. My husband got the brisket and said that it was hands down one of the best he had tried. The okra was good too.

Loved this little place off the beaten path. Some of the best BBQ, baked beans, and cor fritters that I’ve had in a while. 2 homemade sauces to pick from, sweet or spicy. Both were delicious! Wish I lived just down the road.

Just tried this BBQ place with some guys after hiking in the mountains. I actually really like this place. I had the brisket with fried okra and green beans. All three tasted great, especially the brisket. Both the sweet and even the hot sauces tasted great. The waitresses we encounterd were also really great and gave you that good small town hospitality. It’s a hidden gem for sure and I would definitely recommend making a stop here.

The pulled pork is delicious. The French fries were skinny and some weren’t fried long enough and were still raw. The potato salad was bland. I’m not bashing the place, this was just my recent experience. Ate there once before and everything was excellent. Great staff.

Mikes BBQ is IT! Looking for savory food at a good price?! Well, good thing you found this place! Tasty & delicious, server was named Ally, she was super kind & quick. Pulled pork was AMAZING w/ the nice crispy edge. Baked beans, Mac & potato salad was good too! You know a place is good when they got good tater salad. & Good BBQ sauce! Pleasant place to eat with distant views of the mountains. Thanks Mike & Ally! ️

It was ok certainly not great. The lady that served me was attentive but sat at the table next to me and watched me eat the whole time. Oh and if you get water they charge 50 cents for the cup. Thats a first for me and I eat out a lot. I won’t be back.
