I ordered the islander fried combo and the soft shell crab sandwich. It’s not the worst but definitely not the best seafood I’ve had in the area. My complaint would be that the flounder was dry and the crab cake tasted like the cheap premade ones you get from a box in the frozen section at the grocery store as it didn’t have much crab to it. For the price of $33.99 for the fried platter I was expecting a little bit more in terms of freshness. However the soft shell crabs sandwich was fantastic. This was extremely fresh had no fishy taste and was fried to perfection although it came with a small bag of chips not fries I would definitely get it again (cost $13.99). All in all I would return but would stay away from the fried platters as they just aren’t worth the price tag.

Wonderful service! My food was ready in 10 minutes. The guy who took my order complimented my shirt. The only thing I would suggest would be to add utensils and napkins in the bags. I wasn’t sure if I was going to eat there or take it with me but I decided at the last second to take it with me so it wasn’t his fault. The shrimp were HUGE and so good! Same with the crab legs. I wanted crab legs so bad but all of the other restaurants in OC only had crab cakes or lump crab stuff. I’m so glad I found this place.

We ordered take-out. We have bought fish at their market which was fresh. The staff were friendly at the take-out area. We spent a lot thinking it would be worth it. It was not. The shrimp salad was terrible. The $25 lobster rolls were fine but very little lobster and was mixed with a lot of mayo. The swordfish was over cooked. . Very disappointing.

We ordered the crab balls, fries, shrimp potstickers, lobster special and the crab pasta with white sauce and it was all very good 10/10. Everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful. They got the best fry cook on the island!

Way overpriced for the quality of the food. Crab balls are mediocre. Clam and shrimp platter comes in a huge tray and there are only a handful of each. We ordered take out. The shrimp and corn were good but not enough of either to justify price.

My fiancé and I wanted a quick bite after spending a day on the beach. We choose the fish and chips entree. When I called to place the order the kid who answered was very rude. It was $30 dollars for ONE platter that did not even compete to a frozen fishstick dinner from the grocery store. The potatoes were half rotten, the fish was rubbery, and greasy. It was inedible.

Located near the south end of Ocean City, NJ, Mike’s Seafood is an impressive, if pricey option for great fried food platters, sandwiches and other Jersey Shore favorites. I loved my Cole slaw, fish and chips and fried calamari. The parking is sparse, but the outdoor seating is clean and the service couldn’t have been nicer.

Had a great meal at Mike’s in Sea Isle last year. Takeout meal this year in Ocean City was ok. Other family went on separate visit and felt the same…passable.
