We had a great seafood supper in Boone! Blackened scallops were fantastic. The onion rings were spot on. The shrimp were good too! The clam strips were cooked perfectly as well. The portions are generous. I’ve eaten at a lot of seafood restaurants (and have the belly to prove it) that were a lot closer to the shore that were not as good as this. We are glad we stopped!

Service was really good! Portions were huge. The steak is cooked on the same grill as seafood, and you could taste the seafood in the cook of the steak. The food was very bland absolutely no seasoning. The fish had a lot of bones in it.

Very plain food, I definitely wouldn’t get their oyster sandwich, no flavor, a scarce amount of mayonnaise was used instead of a yummy remolaude sauce, no batter seasoning detected.. As a couple who loves well seasoned and cooked seafood this is not it. My husbands order was also not prepared as asked. A good $33 dollars spent for a very disappointing dinner.

Great friendly service and staff! Welcoming to everyone but I can honestly say it’s one of the few restaurants/places left in Boone for locals to come to and feel at home ❤️ the hush puppies are delicious but I recommend the WHOLE menu, not even joking..

Staff was great. The hushpuppies were excellent. The Cole slaw was bland. The onion rings would’ve been great if the batter would have had some seasoning/taste. I got the all you can eat popcorn shrimp and could taste nothing but the fried batter. The Crab Cakes were overcooked and tasted fishy. The kids meal with the whitefish was good.

Service was very friendly and efficient. My husband and I had the fried cod plate with baked potato, coleslaw, and hush puppies. We also had a side salad. The fish was mild in flavor with a nicely browned breading that was crisp and not soggy. The sides were good, basically your average fish house fare. The tartar sauce, however, stood out to me and is some of the best I’ve had.

We visited Boone recently, and discovered this hidden gem.
We ordered the cod nuggets lunch special. It came with hush puppies, fries and Cole slaw. It was outstanding! The portions were generous, the fries were delicious.The hush puppies were light and crispy.The honey butter put the hush puppies over the top. Our server, Olivia was very friendly and welcoming. She was quick and efficient. If we lived in the area, we would become “regulars”.
We will definitely go back to Mike’s whenever we are in the area!

What a great place. The crab cakes were the best. We are from Maryland and we know crab. This cake was really good. MD crab cakes are a 10 out of 10 – these are a 9.
Tuna salad is really good too.

What a treat this restaurant was! Random find with my hubs while visiting from out of town, and we both loved everything about it! The food was delicious, our service was great (young lady with braces, sorry i’m using that vs her name to identify her but she deserves the shout-out!), prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was clean. I also loved that their menu included info on where the fish came from – you could feel the passion behind what they’re doing! 100% recommend

This place is a hidden gem y’all!!! On our way back to the KOA, we stopped in for lunch after our nice hike at the Linville Falls. We came in with hearty appetites and Mike’s Inland Seafood did not disappoint! We began with a wonderful greeting from our waitress Ms Robin, who was just as sweet as Pecan Pie! We are visiting the area for two months, we will definitely be back again and again and, we will be sure to call ahead to make sure Ms Robin is there! I am confident all of the staff is just as sweet but, we thoroughly enjoyed Ms Robin’s sweet Southern hospitality. They serve beer and wine. The creamy ‘to-die-for’ Clam Chowder was excellent! The seafood we ordered was awesome! The portions were plentiful and the prices are very reasonable. Don’t just drive by without stopping in like we have been for the past two weeks. I promise you, you will keep coming back after that first stop. We sure will! Keep up the great work y’all!
