Overall it was good, not AMAZING just pretty good. The burger was pretty good! The ice cream cone was also good! I like how they added mayonnaise and pickles to all the burgers. Average buns. The service was okay, food was brought to me which was nice. Employees weren’t that friendly. My biggest take away from this place would be the atmosphere. Not an old school vibe in sight. Uncomfortable small booths , playing terrible pop music that doesn’t match any classic vibe whatsoever. If you were going for an Old school, Classic , vintage vibe you will not find it here. Overall an okay experience!

It’s a shame the new owners have made so many changes that really make it feel commercialized. Pay the same price almost for a smaller shake. Got rid of some of the better meal choices on the menu and costs a ton. 1 burger a shake and onion rings cost me 30 dollars. I wouldn’t be as bummed if I was paying this for a pastrami burger. The shake is a shell of its former self while retaining the price of their old large. Waiting for my food to give my final verdict on this 30 dollar meal. The food is still good, but I can’t get over the fact I paid the price of a large shake but got a small. Maybe they had to do this to keep it alive, but it’s no longer the mikes we once loved, it’s a shell of its former self just like this shake. I am changing my review to 1 star from 2. My burger is literally sopping wet and that’s disgusting. Bun is completely soggy. For 30 dollars this is BS.

Do yourself a favor and keep on driving from N. Portland until you A.) Go to the original Oregon City location, or B.) Go to In-N-Out. Family of four with kids $51. Twenty minutes of complete silence at 4:30pm while the employees made food in the back, just us and one other family in dining room. Ordered the hot dog basket on the kiosk, came completely bare, zero condiments unlike the picture on menu. Asked employee, she gave me a few ketchup packets and a mustard. If I hadn’t paid $16 I would have thrown it in the trash after one bite. Fries were awful too, tasted like they’d been in fryerall day. Im all for supporting local but this is ridiculous, never again. Everything reviewer Robert said 3 weeks ago is accurate. ✌️

As far as the food I ordered the chicken strip basket and everything came out fresh and hot. My husband ordered the Swish mushroom burger, and added Walla Walla Onions The food was pretty tasty The pumpkin milkshake was super fire

Really disappointed in the food, but service was okay and the restaurant was clean.
I got a deluxe burger (apparently it didn’t ring up as a cheeseburger and the cook who delivered our food to our table was pretty standoffish when I asked about it). The patty was in about three pieces and kept falling out of the bun, and the bun itself was really dry like it was going stale. The fries were crispy and obviously fresh which was nice. The tots were far from crispy though.
The indoor seating section was spotless and is laid out such that it doesn’t feel too cramped. Nicely decorated and well lit.
The cashier was very kind and respectful, answered a couple questions, and took our order quickly.
Overall disappointed, but will try again eventually.

Very friendly and good food. Kids always love the ice cream, and let’s be honest, we do too as adults, lol. the biggest thing i wanted to recognize today was this employee who actually cares enough to clean the entire chair and all the nooks and crannies of the business. it seems to be a lost art, and having a clean environment to eat at is very refreshing. kudos to you for caring about us too. I will definitely return.

Mike’s is hit or miss – some days their burgers are top notch, other days they taste like they microwaved a frozen patty, especially their classic/basic burgers – the specialty burgers with all the extras generally get better marks for me. The chicken tenders are a solid choice as are the shakes but for a burger place, they’re not good enough to make me go out of my way if I just want a classic burger. Barely better then Burgerville and that’s not saying much these days.

The staff were welcoming and the seating area was very clean. I had the bacon cheeseburger, the beef patty was cooked perfectly and tasty, the bacon could have been cooked more and I would have liked a little more toppings on it but other than that not too bad.
