The oyster steak came out perfectly medium rare, juicy, flavorful, that rich sauce was delicious. Chocolate fondue for dessert was appealing warm chocolate with fresh strawberries, bananas, brownie chunks… crispy zucchini and yam fritters were good too.
Cocktails were strong and tasty (loved the Maple Old Fashioned).
Thanks Sandra super friendly and fully on top of the situation!.
Downside: it’s proper upscale kosher dining with a creative menu, but there are no pics of the food, Made ordering feel like a little gamble. and menu is pretty limited like there’s no appetizers or common basic courses..
Still, the quality is definitely special and worth to try it!
There is nothing negative to say about Mike’s bistro. The service is outstanding and attentive all during the meal.
We had steak which was done to perfection. It was moist, juicy and tender. The sides were hot and not mushy veggies.
The desert was the best I’ve ever eaten. The chocolate fondue was scrumptious..
The staff is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a date night or a special occasion. It’s not easy to find kosher dining that feels like a true culinary experience, but Mike’s Bistro delivers every single time. Highly recommend!
Food is 5 star
For appetizers, we ordered the Merguez Dumplings, Gnocchi, and the Meatball with Eggplant. Out of the three, the meatball stood out—it had great flavor, a good mix of textures, and originality. However, the portion size was disappointing as there was only one meatball. The gnocchi was decent but on the bland side, while the dumplings were pretty forgettable. Overall, the portions for all the appetizers were quite small.
We had the Braised Short Rib and the Fillet Steak for our main course. The short ribs were tender and juicy but lacked a bit of depth in flavor. The fillet steak, on the other hand, was the highlight of the meal—cooked to perfection, buttery, with a great sear and fantastic flavor.
Overall, my experience at Mike’s Bistro was just okay. For the price, I expected better service and slightly larger portions. While some dishes did impress, the overall experience didn’t quite meet my expectations. It’s a decent place, but there’s room for improvement.
The drinks were excellent — perfectly made, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The food was next-level. Every dish came out beautifully and tasted even better. You can really tell how much pride goes into the kitchen here.
Our waiter, Lanny, was absolutely amazing — truly a 10 out of 10. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind — not just doing a job, but actually making sure we were having a great time. And honestly, that was true of everyone we interacted with. There was such a positive energy throughout the restaurant.
It’s rare to have a dining experience where literally everything hits: the food, the drinks, the service,
and the atmosphere. Mike Bistro delivered on all of it. This is one of those places you leave already planning your next visit. Highly, highly recommend.
Very tasty, very fresh, and well presented
The gnocchi was out of this world so was the flatbreads and the steaks WOW!!!
BUT really not impressed with the service.
Our waiter looked like he hated his job and wasn’t happy serving and explaining dishes.
Yes it really took away from the experience and dinner.
I ate with 8 friends which all had the same take as me.
