We had a fantastic experience at Mike O’Shays! The entire place has the great atmosphere of an authentic Irish pub, which really adds a unique character to the visit. Everything was spot on—from the service to the overall vibe.

Regarding the food, we tried:

Onion Soup: Hearty and perfectly seasoned.

Salmon with Mashed Potatoes: The salmon was succulent and expertly prepared. However, the mashed potatoes were a total standout—light, beautifully seasoned, with a unique, slightly tangy flavor that was incredibly refreshing.

If you’re looking for quality food and an original atmosphere in Longmont, I highly recommend this spot! We’ll definitely be back.

I love this place. It’s warm, cozy and fun.. Absolute fantastic staff. We love them all. We are frequent flyers at this place and go very often. Honestly i really don’t have a bad thing to say.. I wish they could add a couple vegetarian options. Other than that I will keep coming in. Your All amazing!!!! 1 other thing.. bring back Lonnie!!!! Best restaurant manager I have ever come across.. He is an asset to any establishment he works at.. top notch , 1st class all the way.. Great job O Shays.. cheers!!!!

A cool spot to grab a cold one with many great selections on tap. They also do some foam art with “magic” as they say haha. Great place, worth a stop. Food smelled amazing but only stopped for a quick bev.

Yeah, excellent. Comfort food with some classics as well as some Irish specialties. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Portions are good and fair. Super good potatos and gravy and you can’t go wrong with bangers & mash. I think I could probably go for some mixed veg rather than just peas at the price point, but we love it here.

Had a family dinner while visiting my brother. Staff and customers are super nice and friendly. Excellent food and timely refills. Had the fish and chips. Fish was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, chips were fantastic. Parmesan artichoke dip was out of this world!! Lemonade great, raspberry champagne wonderful, my brother had the shepherds pie which was amazing. Definitely superior experience.

Both the beer and food were an abhorrent disappointment. Ordered a Smithwicks and the beer was flat with no head. Ordered one of their specialities advertised in the menu. The pork schnitzel was overcooked and breading burnt. Very tough with an unpleasant smell of unchanged fryer oil. The sides were no better and I could not find a redeeming quality about this dish! Very sad indeed

A great restaurant that cares for the community. We had a lovely gathering/fundraising event for a charitable cause and the venue answered our call and donated 25% of the sales we brought in to the charity.
Everyone loved the food (came out really fast) and the service was on point.
The highlight was the image “printing” on top of the draft Guiness. (See picture)
A staple of downtown Longmont, highly recommend visiting them if you’re in the area.

Came in with my family for birthday lunch. Service was off the charts. Our server was a lovely woman with purple hair. I ate so much food I needed to be rolled out.

Food is very mid. Expected much better from an Irish spot. From the Guinness pour, the shepherds pie,…left ya wanting more from an Irish pub. Still good, give her a try.

Absolutely a must visit! Great food and extremely friendly staff. Who can say no to a Guinness on tap? (Smithwick’s is my favorite) The Shepard’s Pie was absolutely phenomenal. Even better than mine.
