The space delivers exactly what you’d expect: an older, classic bar atmosphere with a menu centered on familiar pub food. It feels like the kind of place longtime regulars might stop by after a game of pool for a drink and a bite. If that’s what you’re looking for, this may be a good fit!
We ordered our burgers well done and anticipated a drier texture, which was totally fine. However, the lack of seasoning (& condiments) left the burgers tasting flat. I ordered a standard cheese burger with add-ons, but wonder if ordering one from the menu might’ve given me a better experience. Unfortunately, my husband’s side of beer cheese for his fries arrived cold.
Our appetizer, the fried cauliflower bites, was the most enjoyable item we tried.
Overall, the food just wasn’t our favorite for the price point. If you like very mild pub food, you may enjoy it more than we did.

Ate there last night. Large open area means that if many people are there oyr is loud. If you like quiet places or have a quiet company, don’t go here. When we did talk, it was with raised voices to be heard.

We were walking around Downtown Kirkwood and realized we were starving. We didn’t want to walk far and realized we were by Mike Duffy’s. Our extended family raves about this place, but neither my Mom nor I had tried it. We decided to step in for lunch.
The atmosphere was, typical sports bar, but definitely not dim and grungy. There was a large dining room and a spacious patio (unfortunately located facing a parking lot, but still, a nice patio). Our server, Josh, was phenomenal. Attentive and very funny.
The food was surprisingly good. I got a regular Cheeseburger, which came with onions, lettuce, and tomato. My Mom went for the Bison Burger, and we both got fries on the side. The burgers were delicious. Juicy, flavorful, pretty big in size as well. The fries were crispy and went really with the Southwest Ranch. Yum!
Between the patio, service and above-average burgers, we were fully satisfied with our meal and would gladly return to Mike Duffy’s.

Great spot! Nice atmosphere with live music and a really good patio. Plenty of parking too. Service was a little slow but not bad. Food was good, lots of bar food like burgers and sandwiches. The place is big, clean, and friendly. Happy hour deals are solid. I’ll definitely go back.

This was a disappointment. It was BOGO pizza night (Monday) so we ordered a deluxe and a meat lovers. The deluxe was on the menu as a specialty pizza but the meat lovers wasn’t. We had to pay for the more expensive one and got the cheaper one for free.
They charged me $34 plus tax and tip for the meat lovers!!!
I decided to pay $55 for dinner including the drinks and tax and tip. When I got the check, I saw they charged me for using a credit card. I had already decided how much I was going to spend so the waitress ended up paying that credit card fee.
If I want pizza, I will just go to Dewey’s. Or I can get BBQ at a variety of places. I can go without Duffy’s.

We have been going here for years. Years, I tell you! Years of the same awesome specials. The same friendly faces. A place where we could let the kids eat for less and let them let loose a bit and just be kids.
Then they got rid of the bacon jam on their pub burger AND increased the prices. My loyalty has quickly faded now.
It’s a sad day for the patrons of Mike Duffy’s. It’ll never be the same without the bacon jam.

Pretty good. The waitress was amazing. I got the chicken wins as an appetizer, and the patty melt and chili as my entree. The chicken wings were not great, although I am a little biased as I don’t like chicken wings myself. The patty melt and chili were great, though. There was also some live music that could use an upgrade.

Was planning on having dinner with my daughter there. We were told it was a 20 minute wait but it took at least an hour and when the host went to sit us at a table outside someone had taken our table. The host was a little confused went back inside restaurant the manager said she’ll take care of it , so they pulled up a table from one of the other retailers space. No fans were facing us and the flies and mosquitoes were eating us. Found out that the person who took our table was a waiter that worked there and he was not on the waiting list. I guess he feels entitled because he works there. I recognize the waiter he is a heavy set, tall man that wears inappropriate little booty shorts when waiting on tables. I tried talking to the manager, and she offered our meal for free. That is not what we wanted. My daughter and I wanted to have a nice dinner without mosquitoes and flies eating us.

Tonight my mother and I went to dinner and decided on duffys. We eat here often and love the food. However tonight we experienced an awful event that occurred in which somebody had taken our table and the hostesses decided not to say anything. The person that took our table was an employee in which are waitress had told us.The hostess decided not to say anything and pulled up a table to the end of the restaurant patio in which we sat with flies and mosquitoes, biting us all night because the fans were only facing the patio direction. The waitress had then asked if we still wanted our food after my mother had said something to the manager about our table situation, which we replied “yes?” We were never given our food and left. Don’t come here if you’re looking for an evening of enjoyment because they don’t care if you’re a regular, you’ll still be treated like crap.
