Mike Anderson’s in Gonzales is my Mother’s favorite restaurant, hands down. We try to take her every Sunday and I must say I have never had a bad meal. The selection is very good and the food is always delicious. Mom’s favorite is the chargrilled oysters while mine is the Snapper with crab meat. Service is always good and everyone is very friendly. We highly recommend.

Its a must to reserve seating in advance unless you don’t mind the wait. The service is impeccable ..the fried gator is outstanding as well as the ribeye and charbroiled oysters. The onion rings are delicious and huge. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. Family friendly environment for family time, date nights etc…the charbroiled seafood platter is a filler!! LOTS of on tap and bottled beer and wine selections as well. Give it a go, well worth it!!!⚜⚜⚜❤❤❤

Crab au gratin is also AMAZING. Grab a room at the Clarion and you can walk to the best grub in town before or after you hit the pool!

The classic chargrilled oysters were simply amazing. Drenched in butter , Parmesan’s and cheese. Simply Devine. Only regret is not ordering 12 instead of Six. The chicken and andouille gumbo was fantastic !! The Guitreau, which is a mahi mahi topped shrimp and white wine and butter sauce was the bomb !!!
