Food is fantastic. Clean environment with a great staff! We were served by Sassy and she is awesome! Their pricing is fair for the quality of food and service provided. Not cheap by any means, but it’s a great option to experience. If I had to give one criticism, it would be the seating. The hibachi grill area was a little cramped for a LARGE party (11 people). Smaller groups would be no problem. I will definitely be visiting several more time’s!

I came in on Thursday with my aunts after not seeing them for over 8 years. We came in around 9, not realizing they closed at 9 and they rushed us in and made sure to serve us when we tried to leave after finding out we were keeping them late. Our server Sassy was so nice. Absolutely amazing to us and our cook(I can’t remember his name right now, but I’ll update this when I remember it) was so much fun and cooked amazingly. The food was great, it was a bit expensive, but definitely worth it, especially for the experience the cook and our server left us with. Thank you for making a special night even more special for us

I came in last weekend with my family. The food was great and the chef was very entertaining. The ambience was beautiful especially the paintings on the walls, but I was very much distracted by how loud the wait staff was. Also, the menu clearly states that there was an automatic gratuity of 15% for everyone, and 18% on parties of 6 and above. But we were charged 18% and there were only 4 of us. Two people were already sitting on the hibachi table prior to us arriving so I’m not sure how we were associated with them. My sister had called yesterday and we were offered to come back and get a refund, we don’t live in town. I hope it was an honest mistake because the service was sub par at best. Everything else was great!

2 habachi orders, one shrimp (orderded extra shrimp, got six for $14.99) and one chicken, and an order of chicken fried rice….$85.70. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I can get a filet and and a second meal at Natalia’s for not much more than that. Will be the last time I visit Mikata’s. Absolutely ridiculous. 3 orders total, 2 habachi, one shrimp and one chicken, and 1 order of chicken fried rice, plus I orderd extra shrimp for the shrimp habachi order. (Which they charged me $14.99).

Each time I’ve gone in the last three months the price has increased the quality and quality is less . The food and service is not like it use to be. Longer wait time. Waiting for others to come sit at the grill is ridiculous. No longer worth it.
