I’ll admit I was a little worried when I showed up at 9pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. But my worries were immediately quelled as soon as I tasted my seafood soup, angry jalapeño appetizer, and volcano roll. The seafood soup showed up with a lot of cabbage, but as soon as I tasted the broth it was amazing!! All the things in the soup; the cabbage, the carrot, the scallop, the shrimp, and the crab stick, all paired perfectly together! Safe to say I finished the whole bowl and almost wanted to order another one. The angry jalapeño appetizer was just like a fried stuffed jalapeño. It was nice and crunchy and tasted good. The volcano roll was pretty good too. I wasn’t expecting 2 large tempura shrimps to come with the roll but it was a nice touch. I only ordered those 3 items but it was so much food i couldn’t finish it all. Overall, i was extremely satisfied with how all my food tasted, the portion sizes, and the speed of service. I will definitely be coming here again!

Mikado’s is a restaurant my family and I have visited throughout the years. In every single occasion we dined at Mikado’s, we enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice, quiet, and cozy. It’s a good place to discuss and talk with family.
The food is varied with mainly Japanese cuisine: rolls, shrimp, noddles, Sesame chicken, and a lot more.
The service is also exceptional. Never before has a waiter been mean to us, or unkind or rude. They were polite and kind to us on each occasion we sat in our seats.

I want to be clear, my waitress Jailyn was excellent ❤️. I have eaten here since they opened and the staff has always been accommodating. Tonight however I was very disappointed. I asked for a dish that I have had here many, many times. The manager came to my table and told me they were too busy to do it. Then I was told he could do it for $3 extra. I thought the goal of any restaurant was to be busy and to do your best fo the customer. Guess I was wrong.

This was phenomenal! Hubby and I came here for date night and we are still questioning why we have never been here before! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing service. When the waiter found out it was our first time, he was very helpful and made suggestions for each of our tastes. My husband ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi, and I got the volcano sushi roll. We also got the dumplings for an appetizer and chocolate fried ice cream for dessert. The food was excellent! My husband’s steak and shrimp was very tender and juicy! And I was able to customize my sushi roll to exactly what I wanted! To top it off, the price after everything was excellent! The bathrooms were also very clean and spacious (which is a pet peeve of mine). We will definitely be returning!

The sushi was delicious. I barely got a picture in before eating everything. I ordered the okie dokie roll, it’s cooked sushi with shrimp only. We didn’t like the shrimp fried rice. My husband ordered the shrimp teriyaki and he said it was okay.

Food was delicious. As always. Best spicy mayo in Cenla. Hands down. Sasser salad and Kaylen salad are an absolute must. Basil Steak is phenomenal. Beef Yakinuku alwats hits. Every time. Especially with that housemate terriyaki! Would recommend to anyone!
