I had a great experience at this hibachi steakhouse during my stay at the hotel for a conference. The atmosphere was lively and fun, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The chef was engaging and skilled, putting on a great show while preparing the meal. My steak was cooked perfectly- tender, flavorful, and paired with delicious fried rice and veggies. Service was prompt and friendly, and the portions were generous. A great dining option whether you’re staying at the hotel or just looking for a fun night out. Highly recommend!

I wanted to take my son to hibachi for his birthday, we chose this place because it looked like the best quality food at a better price. I was not disappointed in any way by the restaurant. Our hostess, our waiter, and our chef were all excellent professionals and my son got the experience I was looking to provide. My wife is a very light eater and we chose to pay the $15 share charge thinking they would split the meal. In reality we both got full servings of rice, vegetables, soup, and salad; the only thing split was the protein. We ended up with a take out box despite sharing a meal. My steak was cooked perfectly and was a good example of filet mignon and not some poor quality cut being passed off as something it is not. This restaurant is in a resort and is difficult to get to if you are not staying on the property. The parking situation is a mess and I had to ask permission and break rules to take my family to dinner. It would not be unreasonable for the resort to make a few parking spots available for dinner guests. 4 stars instead of 5 only for the parking nightmare, the dining experience is top notch. We went without reservations but it looks like we got lucky. Probably call ahead. The hours/days of business are more limited than some places but if your schedule aligns with theirs, I’d recommend it.

We stayed at the Marriott and decided on Mikado for dinner and had a really nice time. My family had the filet, chicken, and lobster—everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The filet was tender, the chicken was juicy, and the lobster was rich and buttery. You really can’t go wrong with any combo here.

Very happy with our manager, Ramon. If you get him you will be very pleased with your service . He genuinely cares about his guests experiences.
Kenny the chef kinda shocked us with saying the lobster was not overcooked nor salted with two people from different parties telling him – against our not wishing to be aggressive or controversial or contradictory- way over salted etc.
He tried to tell us that lobster is naturally salty -sis not share this with manager because she was very sweet and we had to insist on our paying for our AMAZING drinks —
I cook live lobsters.
I literally saw Kenny salt the lobster AND extremely overcook it (the steak was amazing but we did not eat for ethic sake)
Again, the manager made it right and asked if she could make us another reservation somewhere else. Major respect!
Again part of the fun is the other guests and we had such wonderful people seeing by us!
Order the Kapa Nomu!

Posting review late, we visited here on September 18, 2023
First time visiting here and it was just okay. It’s your typical hibachi grill just higher priced. Our visit probably would have been better if there wasn’t a group of guys who were already very drunk and very loud the whole time we were there. The experience was fun though, and our chef was very nice! He seemed newer though, he wasn’t quite as “showy” as the other chefs. But it was still fun! Be prepared to get a lot of food though, so you better come hungry! I ordered the shrimp and steak dish which was good. Honestly, the highlight of my visit was the dessert! I highly recommend the trio of ice cream on the macaroons, it was fabulous! Overall, fun experience but I probably won’t dine here again when I come visit just based on the fact that once is good enough.

This place is by far the worst hibachi place I’ve ever ate it. We had no server for the whole experience including getting our first drink a cup of ice water from the hostess. The chef was the dishwasher with no experience and cooked everything together same spatula steak, chicken, lobster, veges. I was like dam I’ve never seen this level of cross contamination ever!!! Everything from the soup to the sesame paste dressing, to yum yum sauce, to bad noodles to rotten lobster tail. I can’t say enough about how awful everything was!!!! Never and I mean never attempt this terrible establishment.

Grace, our server was all smiles and knowledgeable regarding the menu. Kenny, chef was humorously sarcastic which was perfect. We had a party of 5, bill was over $450 for drinks and food. We had a great time and will be baccck. Thank you Mikado!

Before going to the restaurant, and after reading all the bad reviews, I wanted to pass on going, but fortunately, my husband did and convinced me to give them a try. We arrived without a reservation and the friendly staff was able to seat us within 15 min while we waited at the bar.
The filet steak was recommended as a guest favorite and it was incredibly tender, juicy and full of flavor. Good quality and plenty of it!
They also had good red wine selections.
We would definitely recommend and return.

The chef that made the food was good the only thing is I wish they included the noodles and fried rice instead of having to charge it separate and only include steam rice. But the drink I got was the plum wine and it was sweet the way I like it. They do give a complimentary cake for your birthday so that was a nice perk. I also got the steamed GOYZA and it was good.

Chef’s were nice and food was decent but our waiter was extremely rude to us, making our group feel rushed, they tried to clear our table before we finished eating, and waitress looked at our bill right in front of us to see if we left a tip over automatic 18% that’s hotel policy. We complained to the front desk and was told we weren’t the only ones.
