New owners. Food was decent. Rice wasn’t very good, didn’t taste like normal fried rice, got the wrong cut of steak, and my steak had pieces of bone in it. Chef was friendly and very entertaining show. Probably won’t come back here, there is just a lot of better hibachi places in Bakersfield to go to.

I took my kids out to eat and had the worst experience ever. I’ve never had an experience where I couldn’t find something redeeming about the experience. The food was horrible and the managements response was even worse. The rice was crunchy. The “sesame” chicken had no sesame. The chicken was over cooked and dry. The steak was flavorless and not cooked to instruction. The lobster was dry and when I asked for butter was given it raw and not melted. I asked to speak to management after taking a couple bites and realizing we were not going to eat our food and was told that I would have to pay for everything regardless or they would call the cops. Hands down the worst food, the worst customer service, the worst experience. Pictures of our plates to show we didn’t eat our food.

Not planning of eating here. But just curious and check the menu. We decided to have a try and order Shuyo Ramen. I end up liking it just mild flavor and not too salty. I want to order just a broth to go but the cook already left. But ill come again soon.

My overall experience was good! Our chef put a lot of thought and hard work into making the experience memorable and entertaining. I value the thought and ingenuity! The food overall was great and comparable to other places I’ve been. So the food and service get 5 stars! When it comes to the overall atmosphere it can use some improvements and I hope once they become fully staffed things will run smoother and it won’t feel so disorganized. I recommend giving this restaurant a fair chance and expect to have some wait times for now but I know you’ll enjoy the service and meal!

Great service, Great food! Our chef Ray was amazing. This guy has experience so his showmanship is on point, food was absolutely delicious. The waitress was also on point and took good care of us. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Sub par sushi in my opinion. Loose rolls, avocado was mostly brown. Got a ninja roll and a spicy california. Ate most of the ninja as I was hungry, still not sure what it was. Empty at dinner time. Tried eating more but could not get past the taste. Maybe just an off day for me but in my opinion this was just not worth it.

On Wednesday Valentine’s Day my group went all together to have a nice lunch. We had 12 in our party and was seated at two different teppan grills. We had reservations mind you. There were a set of 2 people at the two tables behind us. One there before us and one after us. (Which he served them first)The only teppan cook in the house served these two tables. When get got to us he cooked at our table while the other table he had his back to them and they couldn’t see to watch him. Mind you we had a reservation! They charged us a gratuity of their choice and never came back to remove the dirty dishes or refill our drinks. Very disappointed because one of the ladies, it was her birthday, and she sat at the table where he wasn’t cooking. Probably won’t be back We had our reservation for a week in place. They should have accommodated us.

Fabulous place to gather with the family! We had a group of 6 and they attended to all of us very well. Andrew was THE BEST!! He was our host, he made us feel right at home. Ray the cook made sure everything tasted perfect. Be sure to try the green tea icecream for dessert.
