Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day.

Well my friend’s, this is pretty much where Miguel’s Jr started. I started with a combination plate, which consists of two tacos, beans, rice, and all the salsa you can handle. My drink of choice, is lemonade.
I really like this place and I appreciate that hire our youth + have a good retirement plan. If they decide to stick it out.
Anyhow, my appetite was craving a Chile Relleno, so I headed back to the counter and ordered a take home plate, along with a garbage burrito . Four hours later the burrito is bringing joy to my tummy.
The only hang up that I have, is that the prices have gotten to a point, where my budget cannot afford to eat here anymore. Unfortunately, this is the sad story in all of California.

I’ve never been here, but my best friend INSISTED on coming. I ordered a burrito with Chile Colorado and it was AMAZING! The employees were all friendly and the restaurant was super clean. I would recommend this joint to anyone that wants some fast Mexican food for a good price.

I ordered the Loaded Fries. Seeing the picture, I figure I was getting a good size portion of fries, steak, guacamole, salsa, cheese and onions. Sadly the take-out plate was smaller than my hand. I was hoping to have enough for later, but missing lunch, this plate barely filled me up. The upsetting part was paying fifteen dollars for an entree that should have costed nine dollars at most.

This is the OG Miguel’s Jr. I grew up eating here and any time I am in the neighborhood I always stop. The food is the best of any other location, the staff is always friendly and the dining room is always clean. God willing my last meal on earth will be from here.

I ordered a garbage burrito box, large side of chips and guacamole, & a beef taco. Everything smells old and the chips are stale. My guacamole is brown and my burrito is wayyyy too salty. like, an unusual amount of salt. Pretty gross

This location usually has great service, but tonight was especially good. Young man, working behind the counter in a blue shirt (think his name was Matthew), was very helpful. He was more than happy to make sure he got my order exactly correct, even with a few modifications. He repeated everything back to me and even took the time to show me how he packed my bags. I could tell he took pride in his work and provided exceptional customer service.

We went through the drive thru here the other day. I was going to order 2 shredded beef taco’s. My wife talked me into only getting 1 taco. She got 2 of the street tacos.
I don’t eat a lot, so it was a very good idea that I only ordered 1 taco. Not only was it delicious, but it was good sized. I do not think that I could have eaten a second one. My wife also really enjoyed the street tacos she ordered. They were a little smaller than the regular taco I ordered, but still very good
There was a small challenge placing the order in the drive thru. But this was mostly caused by the background noise in the area. The person who took our order was very patient and polite while we were trying to order.
When we got to the window to pay, the gal at the window was very nice and not only offered us hot sauce, but made sure that it was in the bag with the order. The hot sauce was also very delicious
Third time eating at a Miguel’s Jr. Drive thru twice and Door Dash once. This restaurant chain has never disappointed us. We will be back soon
