Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

Overall better than average. The shredded chicken is excellent. I did not see an iced tea option which is a bummer if you are trying to avoid sugary soda.
Update: they have greatly improved. The shredded chicken burrito is excellent. They have a new selection of flavored lemonades which are very good. Very friendly and fast service. A better selection of salsas would nice, especially Pico de Gallo.

I usually like this location but lately the service and food haven’t been great. I ordered a shredded beef tostada with no beans and I think they had their eyes closed when they made it. I got half the portion. Very frustrating that I paid for this. This is exactly how they made it when I opened the container.

Why is there a place for special instructions for an online order if they’re not going to read what the instructions are?
We asked for 6 green sauce and 4 red sauce. What we got was 9 red sauce. Even the math doesn’t add up.
Why don’t they read the special instructions?
The turn around back onto me, the paying customer, is going to be this… “You should have checked your order.”
If you deliver the best in customer service, the customer should not have to do the job of the employee.

I went inside for lunch and went to the counter to order. After I looked at the menu, I was ignored for over 3 minutes although there were three employees in the front end. They were more interested in working the drive-thru. I tried to make eye contact to see if I could get their attention but no luck. Eventually I just walked out without ordering. I like the food and usually go through the drive-thru but did not appreciate being ignored.

This Location is absolutely awesome! Stephanie and Adolfo are so nice, courteous and very professional. I frequently come to this location because it’s a mile and a half from my work. I never need to worry about a long wait in the drive thru when these two are working. The service is top notch and the food is always fresh. Everyone loves Miguel’s, but this has to be the best one. It’s the staff that makes a difference. From the kitchen staff to the front counter. It seems that every order is perfect. The kitchen seems to know how to make every order better than the last time I visited. The staff at the drive through and front counter are awesome. Stephanie, Sabrina, and Bella make each visit a pleasure. It seems like every time I come in, even if the last customer treated them terribly, they smile and are super helpful selecting something new from the menu. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable. The food is great and the staff is even better.
