Social Profile:

Miguel’s Jr Upland is opening November 20, 2024! Stay tuned for special offers! Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

Mexican counter-serve chain dishing up burritos, tacos & other classics in a modern space.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the food is a joke. Breakfast burritos, check out the photo. Only 1/3 of a slice of paper thin bacon, probably about half an egg and the rest was just tortilla. After no protein for three bites I unwrapped the thing you can see what was inside. Borderline scam-level.

We called Miguel’s to ask if you carry aguas frescas, and although you didn’t, your manager William kindly offered great alternatives like horchata and lemonade. We’re drinking them right now and they’re super refreshing.

William also recommended the Garbage Burrito, which looks amazing. His friendliness and excellent customer service are what convinced us to come in and try Miguel’s Jr., and we’re so glad we did. I’ve also heard from locals that the food here is phenomenal, and so far everything has been a great experience, from the food to the music.

I love a good rice and beans burrito, and now I can’t wait to try this one. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Look, I’m a Midwestern white American, but the food is really bomb from my perspective. More importantly, the man William that’s typically there when I come is just the best. I’m pretty sure Miguel’s is a chain, but as good customer service in the world seems to be a dying breed, this guy would easily convince me to come back, even if the food wasn’t good (which its definitely good). William should be the mascot of this whole brand. I get the California burrito personally. Thank you guys for the awesome service. I get better help from fast food than at most sit down places. Also, they have 30% military discount if you show ID, which is an average of 20% higher than most places that do offer. They clearly support their veterans. God bless and thank you to your whole team. There’s a reason that drive thru is always busy, and im leaving this novel review.

For years I’ve been getting garbage burritos. Steak is great, and their pork verde version is really good too. Chicken is too plain for me, but healthier option. Their red sauce is bomb. A lot of fresh tomato flavor and oregano accent. This is always in rotation, and I live an HOUR away in La Crescenta. But I try to stop by at this Upland location and Ontario location whenever I get the chance.

Please open a location further West for the fans!!! Thx

Good service! Loved how the employees are welcoming and friendly to costumers, however my main concern is the prices of their newly added loaded fries plate. For it being $13, it was fairly small to what I expected! Overall good food, just in the price in this economy.

The food is very fresh and tasty. The environment was welcoming and the employees are all so very helpful and nice. We had the cheese and chicken enchiladas plate and hubby had the carne asada plate and the pieces of meat were of a good size and very good. Definitely good place to eat.

I’m an old customer of Miguels , I grew up in Fontana ,an Miguels was all the rage back in the mid to late ,80’s on into the early ’90 ‘s I couldnt wait till lunch came cuz we as juniors and seniors got to go off campus and walk down to the end of the block and get one of those delicious bean an cheese burritos with that fiery red sauce . Dripping out the burritos but it was so worth it to have a spot or two on your top or on your pants .it was great. I’m so glad to see that you e expanded the business I know my family has enjoyed your restaurant throughout the years.

Where do I even begin? The customer service was horrible, and the food was just as bad (see attached photo). We ordered one order of taquitos, and instead of simply handing it to us at the window, they told us to park by a stop sign where another car was already waiting. This forced us to block traffic so their drive-thru could stay open—completely illogical and frustrating.

As for the food… the picture speaks for itself. You don’t have to take my word for it—the photo says more than a thousand words ever could.

Considering going back Del Taco and Taco Bell. It’s always an average wait of 15min.+ to get food whether it’s busy or not a fast food joint they are not. For the quality length of wait and accuracy of your order the price point for their items is way too high. 5/17/25 I went in there at about 6:30pm and waiting over 15min for a to go order and I get home and when I was able to get around to eating it cuz I had to tend to my young children it was freakin’ wrong!!! I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with sour cream and extra cheese and what do I get a shredded chicken burrito with Mexican rice which I deathly hate no beans no sour cream!! It’s like they gave me someone else’s order altogether. I unfortunately have to go back for them to fix their screw up but then after that may not be ever going back. I never had this much problems with the Ontario location but the new upland location has tarnished the company so bad, in my opinion they should re-staff the entire location. DO BETTER Miguel’s Upland!!!!
