We LOVED this place. It’s hard to find a place that satisfies all 4 of us (parents and kids 13 and 11), but we all agreed that they have the best tacos we have ever had. We had all 3 types- fish, anticucho (short rib), and purple haze (grilled Okinawa sweet potato)– and the crispy corn tortilla, filling, and toppings made perfect tacos. It’s in a food truck park in a fun location, with plenty of tables, fun music, and overlooks the water– perfect place to be at sunset. The owner was so friendly, too! Oh, and the prices are amazing. We’ll be back before our trip is over!

This food truck is in the Ward Harbour area, and I’ve been there for lunch several times. The food is always delicious. Their chili dishes are excellent, and the tacos they’ve recently started serving are also fantastic. On this particular visit, I had the Fresh Fish Tacos. They were substantial and had a light, addictive flavor. The Pesto Pasta is also delicious, and the Grilled Short Rib I had as a side was so tender and habit-forming. The sauce is truly the best. If you want to enjoy a casual lunch while soaking up the Hawaiian sun, this is the place to go.

Get the Anticucho taco. Its AMAZING. Only complaint I have is, they closed early on me and I wasn’t able to get my “fix”. Im not ashamed to say that I ate there twice and I’ll probably stop by before I leave.

I had the short rib taco add pickled onions and it was sooo good. Can’t stop thinking about how good it was. Did not come with salsa (did not ask for some so maybe they offer it) but even without, it was still amazing! My friend got the fish taco and also thought that was really good. Food is a little greasy, but to me that makes it even better!!

Some of the best fish tacos I’ve had on the island! Fresh fish daily from the harbor. Owner operator Miguel is super hospitable, kind, and the food was ready quick. Definitely coming back regularly! Miguel has THE BEST fish tacos on Oahu!! I get them at least once a week. He gets his fish fresh every day and compliments it perfectly with homemade salsa and aoli. The pesto pasta is also divine. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

It was our first visit at El Gallo as we wanted to try something new. We ordered the Antiocuchos and the special, pesto pasta with breaded beef. We enjoyed both dishes. They were well seasoned and packed with a lot of flavor. We will definitely be back!
