Best banh mi I’ve ever had!! The bread was so good and the tofu was cooked perfectly. My fiancé loved the chicken bowl. Everyone was really nice and quick too! Definitely a great place to stop in Port Angeles 🙂

I don’t usually find 2 places in the same area that both deserve reviews, but Port Angeles delivered. Midtown Public House was excellent. I got the Pork Belly Bowl and it was amazing. My colleague also kept saying how good his meal was as well. The building is a little nondescript and it wasn’t super obvious that amazing food waited inside, but im glad we found it. This spot is a hidden gem and if you are in Port Angeles it’s worth stopping by if you like Asian fusion.

Absolutely delicious!
I ordered the Belly Bowl and was blown away by how flavorful and perfectly cooked it was — I couldn’t help but wonder how they prepared the pork belly to make it so tasty. My wife had the Bin Boo Bowl and loved it just as much. The portions are generous — definitely large enough to share between two people. We stayed in Port Angeles for only two nights and we had the second dinner at the same restaurant.

Awesome food and vibes. Visited from out of town and would have gone more than once if it wasn’t our last meal before leaving town.

This place was a surprise find. We did not expect such a contemporary Asian restaurant in Port Angeles. Everything we had was delicious. They had several beers on tap and a cider. Multiple canned options too.

Not sure if this is normal, but we waited over an hour for our food. We ordered the pork belly bowl and udon. Both dishes were extremely salty, and the udon was also quite oily. That said, the pork belly itself was cooked really well. For the bowl, it would be much better if t
hey didn’t pour so much sauce over the rice—keeping the rice plain and slightly drier would really help balance the flavors. Honestly, I think the main issue is just the saltiness. If they can adjust that, it could be perfect. You can tell they actually know how to cook.

Delicious food. Amazing service. The server was efficient and friendly. I shared the beef bulgogi tacos and KFC chicken wings with a friend. It was great. Another friend had the udon noodles with chicken.

Always friendly, excellent service even when they’re having the toughest days. Food is flavorful & you’ll most likely go home with leftovers. Vegan friendly, which is so appreciated! Our only suggestion is to please reduce the amount of oil in cooking. Hard on the tummy.

This is my favorite type of place. On the surface, it’s rough around the edges and has a very local feel to it. But once you walk through the door, you will find a fantastic place with interesting details and very good food. The person at front said they are having a terrible time finding good employees so they made the tough decision to have people seat and serve themselves in order to keep the restaurant going. We certainly didn’t mind and if anything, it enhanced the evening. We were all impressed with the quality of the food and I’d call Midtown Public House a must see place in Port Angeles. Don’t let the old and non descript exterior fool you. This is a great place to eat.
There appears to be an attached bar that was pretty busy though we never went in since our parents were with us.
Hope this place stays afloat. I think it’s great.
