Stopped in for lunch today with the family. Wife’s been here quite a few times but it was my kids and my first time. Wife got the hot Italian, daughter got the BLT, son got the hot Mexican and I got the club AND the thai chicken. We also got a cup of the corn chicken chowder and all of us got the house chips. Everything was delicious. Got the club grilled which is the way to go. The Chipotle sauce is a must have when eating the hot Mexican and you have to get extra peanut sauce with the thai chicken.. Everything was delicious!

Expensive, Basic Sandwiches—Plan and Simple.
Midtown Deli left me underwhelmed. While I usually have plenty to say about a dining experience, this place didn’t give me much to work with. The sandwiches are as basic as they come, and for the price, they don’t deliver nearly enough in terms of portion size or flavor. Even small details, like charging for a water cup, felt like a letdown.
The food lacked sauce, seasoning, or anything to make it stand out. There’s nothing unique or memorable about the menu, and the overall experience was just bland. We waited too long for a normal day and disappointing food.
I’m not sure if I’ll be back, but maybe I’ll give it another shot someday. As it stands, Midtown Deli is hard to recommend.

I have been in Greenville for 5 years and this was my first visit. I loved it and will definitely be back. I got the club but with Roast Beef instead of Ham. It was incredible and can’t wait to be back.

Was not expecting much when ordering until I got my food. The sandwich was enormous and was so delicious! The bacon was crunchy even after I picked up and drove back to work. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend ordering out or if you want to dine in, avoid busy lunch hours as it was super packed; even the parking pictured: The Club

This experience was perfection all the way! My hubby & I stopped in today while shopping in Greenville for lunch and were blown away.
They list it as “cozy” but actually, there’s a lot of seating, which is great. Staff are very personable & friendly I had the grilled Ruben and my hubby had the Mexican, both with chips and pickle. We also each tried a cup of soup with my choice the beef vegetable and my hubby the chicken corn chowder.
My ruben was the perfect combination of buttery grilled rye bread filled with a hot, gooey concoction of tasty corned beed, melty swiss cheese, tangy dressing, and sauerkraut that lendied the perfect amount of acid to balance the whole sandwich. The vegetable beef soup was a nice mixture of baby limas, corn, tomatoes, beef, and broth that took me back to being a kid and getting homemade soups at the church festivals/bizarres. Truly was a hug for my souk today❤️❤️❤️
My hubby’s choices were just as tasty & satisfying. His mexican was the great combination of soft, warm bun filled with spicy chorizo, ham, pickled jalapeños, provolone, and a spicy ranch Chipotle dipping sauce. His chicken corn chowder was delightfully creamy and filled with corn and corn flavor.
Absolutely look forward to visiting on a regular basis!!!!

First trip in on referral from friends. The food was ok but the service was terrible. Many of those working behind the counter were just rude, I was shocked. Based on this trip I will probably not try again but I do acknowledge many people love this deli. Just not for me but I wish them continued success.
