The four of us came in for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. The cocktails were okay. We did like the chicken wings, but the calamari was mediocre.
Our party ordered the salmon dish and the fish-n-chips. The fish-n-chips were heavily battered and hard. Quite disappointing.
Their saving grace was the outstanding service by our server, Shannon. She was friendly and attentive.
I was looking forward to try out Midgley’s, came home disappointed.

This is my first time here, unfortunately, I did not eat or drink anything because I was there for a birthday party where we sat out outside. However, they did have heaters because it was chilly, which was nice, and the staff was very attentive which I appreciated the rest of the group did get some appetizers which consisted of pokey nachos and sliders.

I need to get back when I can actually enjoy a dinner.

We were incredibly disappointed after hearing decent things from others. Either those people go only for the bar, or a lot has changed in a few months.

Showed up for lunch, and everything seemed nice on the patio. Dirty, cluttered tables, but I figured a party had just left. Booth was uncomfortable and sticky, and not properly attached to anything, so don’t lean back. We ordered the prime rib dip sliders, some cheeseburger sliders, some loaded fries, and a kid’s lunch. The kid’s lunch seemed like a great deal, $10.95 for kid’s choice of basic kid food (mac n cheese, chicken strips, butter noodles, etc.), a drink, and a cup of ice cream for dessert. My prime rib sliders were more like cold roast beef with a cup of salt water. The “jus” was cold too. No horseradish to speak of. I couldn’t eat it. The cheeseburgers were dry, and came with pickles, which wasn’t in the description. I can make a better burger from frozen patties and a slice of kraft. These appetizers that we said were our meal didn’t come out at the same time either. About 45 minutes later the waitress shows up with the wrong fries, and at that point I told her not to bother. And the kid’s mac n cheese was basically oil noodles with some shredded cheese thrown on top. The liquid just tasted like oil and water, no cheese flavor at all. Then it took another 30 minutes just to get a cup of melting ice cream and the check. They were at least kind enough to remove the prime rib from the bill.

Service was slow, inattentive, and a disappointment all around. We will never go here again. I’d advise you don’t either. At least not for lunch. Maybe they excel at the bar, but not worth it to find out.

Meh. Located on the pretty side of a strip mall, this corporate chain dining experience delivers Sysco’s cafeteria class food, and guarantees to fill a hole if you’re really really hungry. On par with TGI Fridays and Red Robin.

This place has always been great, the food did seem a little lacking, compared to what I remember. Last time I had a Roasted Tomato soup, today that had a tomato bisque that was bland in flavor. I ordered the pasta with pesto and a chicken thigh. Cooked well just lacking the exquisite flavor. Atmosphere and employees are always welcoming and attentive. I play on coming during UFC or happy hour to check out the vibes.

My husband and I sat at the bar last night Friday, we a great time speaking to Jerica and Preston. we shared oysters and the tomahawk. The tomahawk was huge!!!! We also had good conversations with people we met. Tomahawk is a little pricey but I’m telling you it’s worth it, we took tomahawk home. I recommend ordering the tomahawk rare because of fear of chef overlooking meat. Tomahawk and eggs for breakfast

Went to Midgley’s last night and left really disappointed. It’s definitely not the restaurant I remember. I’ve been here many times in the past, ordering everything from the tomahawk steak to the lobster risotto back when it was on the menu, and those experiences were always great. Unfortunately, this visit felt like a completely different place.

We came on a Saturday night and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only a couple of other tables, which was surprising. The lights kept flickering, and while I enjoy all kinds of music, hearing DMX’s “Party Up (In Here)” playing in an almost empty upscale restaurant was… an interesting choice. Nothing says fine dining quite like “Y’all gon’ make me lose my mind” echoing through the room.

We were a party of four and were charged a $48 gratuity, which definitely caught us off guard given how slow the night was. That said, our servers—Shannon and I believe Alex—were good and did their best.

As for the food, it was a letdown. This time I tried the poutine, and it came with zero cheese curds. I’ll say that again—no cheese curds. At that point it’s just fries with an identity crisis. The menu is limited, the prices are high, and most importantly, the taste is nowhere near what it used to be. Sadly, I don’t see myself coming back, and unless some major changes happen, I’m not sure how long this place will last.

Came here to meet with friends for a pre-holidays lunch. Our server was fairly new, but super friendly and attentive. She checked in on our table several times if we needed something. Food and drinks were not bad. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was good portions, but was a little dry and over breaded. My cocktail was good though.
Parking was plenty, as the lot is big. Overall, a pretty enjoyable experience.

Everything is awesome every time we come here. I had the Salmon and shrimp while my wife had the Libster Cob salad. Both were delicious.

First of all the menu is very small. Only a few options to choose from. And all very pricey. Those are the biggest negatives here. The staff is average. The food is 9/10. The mac & cheese is good, the prime rib sliders, the Ahi nachos.
The bar area is pretty small. The restaurant side is basic. If anything go during happy hour for 1/2 price apps and drink specials.
