One morning for breakfast, I separated the tortilla from the meat and veggies. I made an omelette with everything and had the tortilla on the side as bread and it was THE BEST omelette ever.
I watch a lot of Anthony Bourdain and I think he’d be proud of this place.
I would recommend the steak burrito, steak, tacos, chicken tacos, falafel tacos.
I will try more next time, thank you!
Staff gave us excellent service !
Located near Silver Lake.
It’s a bit difficult to get there due to traffic. The area is a bit shady with homeless but also attracts the hipster crowd.
Seems there’s only street parking, which is a bit of a challenge to find.
There’s no indoor seating. While there, I noticed most orders are for pick-up and to-go.
However, there are a few tables on the sidewalk on both sides of the restaurant.
Menus are displayed in the windows outside the restaurant. As soon as you open the door, you are greeted by the staff at the counter. There’s just enough room inside to place your order. You then wait outside for your order to be freshly prepared.
I can tell the owners did their best to make it pleasant. They have nice murals painted on the sides of the red brick walls. Sadly, as with everything in LA, taggers sprayed graffiti all over them.
It’s not the fault of the owners. Shame on the city for not enforcing laws and protecting tax players and small business owners.
The food is of excellent quality and ingredients.
They served us complimentary nacho chips with a side of sauce. Both fresh and yummy.
The homemade papas are basically sliced potato wedges sprinkled with spices. They are tender, meaty and full of flavor. They’re served with a side of sauce.
The shrimp tacos are delicious but as others have mentioned the sauce over powers the other flavors.
The chicken tacos are amazing. Strongly recommend.
The falafel tacos (the main reason I visited) are excellent. They’re made of chickpeas/ garbanzo beans and doesn’t have any fava beans in case of allergies.
Also tried the Armenian pear soda. It’s made with real sugar. It’s refreshing and not too sweet.
Overall the food is excellent. However it’s a bit over priced give there’s no indoor seating. The sidewalk dining is fine if wasn’t for the loud traffic on the busy street. Also the homeless walking around gives it a feel of The walking Dead.
Wish this restaurant had a better location then I’d be visiting frequently.
Staff was nice, I picked up my food and bounced.
I was so excited to tear into the papas I broke open the to go lid in my car and stuck my hand into a soggy ass pile of potato’s. I picked one up and it was just floppy as hell. I thought I misunderstood the dish, so I ate a couple and it was just all oil. I dipped it in its sauce when I got home and it still didn’t make up for the soggy potato’s.
The falafel taco was pretty good, I loved the crunch, but I won’t crave it.
My favorite taco was the chicken taco. That actually slapped. The chicken was so flavorful and I loved the perfect amount of spice. I wish I got a second one because I’m sitting here a little bummed that I had such a mid dinner.
Overall, flavor and seasoning is good. I’d stick to the chicken, and you’d be satisfied.
We came on a Saturday night after bar hopping and the line wasn’t too bad. Once we ordered and picked a table outside, our food came within 10 minutes. The sauces are truly exceptional! I am making it my mission to try everything on the menu. Parking can be a challenge if you don’t arrive by foot, but it’s well worth circling the block a few times.
And finally I found them not to far from my house.
This location just opened few months back and I must say it os a must try dood.
I ordered 2 asada tacos, 2 falafel taco and a asada burrito.
Everything was perfect.
The flavor, the seasonings, the salsa the beef the rice…Everything was delicious
Had one of each of the tacos shrimp/chicken/steak and steak quesadilla and order the papas as well!! None of them disappointed and 10/10 would come back!
