This place is so cute and tasty. They portions are very generous, and the price is reasonable. They are fast. Even when it’s only one person doing all the work, taking orders and making ice cream. It’s a wonder hidden gem in Lisbon.

Good ice cream, gigantic sizes, great prices. I came here as a child and am not sure anything has changed but to he employees. My children’s eyes got big when I ordered small ice creams and they were two huge gigantic scoops. There are many choices of flavors. Yes, they even have moxie ice cream. They serve ice cream, shakes, sundays, floats, ice cream pies, banana splits, water and soda. The staff were very friendly and even held on fulfilling the order till my family came back from the restroom. So downsides are no dining area inside and no public restrooms. There is a portapotty about 1,200 feet away on the walking path.

Need to update hours, as they are only open til 8pm not 830pm and the young girls working will randomly close before 8pm. Saw 2 families get refused service even though they arrived at 750pm… Otherwise great ice cream

My daughter & I went for dessert a couple of weeks ago because I had to try the donut sundae! Delicious! Mine was made with an apple cinnamon donut and it definitely hit the spot. The PERFECT segway of Maine summer into Maine autumn. My daughter is a cookie dough lover to her core, so she was all about the hard serve scoops! We ended up buying extra to bring home!

This is great place to go to get ice cream. Reasonable prices, friendly service, generous portions, and dairy free options as well. Their dairy free chocolate and dairy free orange pineapple are both so delicious!

I’ve been going there for ice cream since I’ve been in Maine, 1981. They are the BEST!! Their ice cream is the BEST homemade and the service is always great!!! Great job Big Dipper!!!! I appreciate you guys!!!
