Great local spot for breakfast. Our waitress was very attentive. My omelette was well made. The potatoes were excellent, very crispy and fresh- probably my favorite part of the meal. My husband enjoyed his migas.

Stopped in for a quick father/daughter breakfast. Hands down the best scattered hash browns I have had in a long time. They were extra crispy, but not burnt and cooked all the way through. Biscuit and gravy omelet was good, could have used more sausage in the sausage gravy. Kiddo got a banana Nutella Mickey pancake, it was really good. We will definitely be back with the rest of the family.

Discovered this place this weekend and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean (and decorated really cute-ly), our waitress was nice and helpful, the prices were reasonable, the breakfast portion sizes were excellent, and the food was tasty. There was no wait to be seated and we got our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering, which was fantastic. One of my favorite parts was seeing the staff (2 waitresses and a lady who seemed like the manager/owner) interact with other guests at the restaurant…it’s clear this restaurant has regulars who come to enjoy it, and they’ve developed friendships with the staff, which was wholesome and enjoyable to see/overhear.

Absolutely excellent brunch spot. The food is consistently fantastic, starting with the best country potatoes I’ve had anywhere, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The pancakes are large, fluffy, and delicious, cooked to perfection every time.
They are the only place that truly gets eggs over medium right, no runny whites, no overcooked yolks, just perfect.
Skip the trendy brunch places where you wait an hour just to be disappointed. Come here instead and enjoy outstanding food, great service, and very reasonable prices. A true hidden gem and well worth it.

Mid-Cities Cafe is a hidden gem of a breakfast and lunch spot. Antonio, the Chef, and Jenny, the owner, always take care of us each Wednesday we have breakfast there. The decorations are lovely and the food is fabulous. Only place we find the French Farmer and their coffee is always fresh and best in the area! Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

I was really upset when I arrived, and the whole minute it took them to seat me I was enraged!
Winter was my server and she was polite and peaceful. The music was too!
Clean, recently renovated, well decorated and simple.
Food came out in good time and I was already doing better. It tasted really good and even the fruit was fresh (berries).
Antonio, head chef came out to greet one of the patrons, and took some time to greet me. Great people! Shout out to Christian who made my delicious omelette.
I hear Jenny, the owner is the one who cultivates such a great atitude, thank you!

It has been 4 years since we have eaten at this little Cafe. And I have to say it was such a joy compared to our previous visit! We went during brunch on a week day. Service was decent and good was delicious.

Food was good. Wife had the California omelette with a side of fruit and pancake. Yes, a single normal pancake is available as a side.
I got the 2x2x2 which is eggs, bacon/sausage, and pancakes. I added on the side of potatoes (hash browns for me).
Sausage is either Patty or links, I prefer patties.
Hash browns we’re nice and crispy. Plenty of condiments etc. at each table.
Taking some pancakes home, and as a nice touch, they have little cups with butter and syrup for you to take with you.
Wife enjoyed the omelette. This was her second visit. She wanted me to try it. Glad she did!

The staff is nice but we waited more than an hour after ordering before we got our food. The waiter checked in once and let us know they were busy making to go orders and hadn’t gotten to ours yet. WHAT?! Even after we got our food, it was mediocre. The chicken was stringy and dry and no amount of sauce could make it less bland. The blueberry pancakes were also extensively dry and flavorless. The blueberries weren’t mixed in, only thrown on top. The sandwiches and potatoes were flavorless. The sweet potato fries were good! That’s about it, and definitely not with the wait
