The food was decent, although not exactly to my taste, but it’s suitable for those who enjoy Asian cuisine. During our visit with friends, we tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, but the vegetarian choices were quite limited. We sampled the steamed dumplings, which differed from what I’m accustomed to at other Asian eateries, and I found them quite satisfying. Additionally, the two veg sushi rolls were enjoyable. The veg spring rolls were okay, similar to those served elsewhere. We also ordered veg fried rice and vegetable udon, which were a bit bland; we had to enhance their flavor with the sauces provided for the sushi, spring rolls, and dumplings. My friends who opted for non-vegetarian dishes found them satisfactory but also slightly lacking in flavor. One aspect I didn’t appreciate was the lack of customization options for vegetarians. Overall, I had a positive experience and would rate it a 6 out of 10.

We liked the food at Mici. The food presentation is great. We ordered Green dragon roll, Steak and Prawn, Happy Family (shrimp, steak and scallop) and Scallop and prawns. See pictures below. The ambience is relaxing. Our waitress was friendly. In the future, we may try some of their varieties of sushi.

Their food is not bad and a nice menu of choices including sushi. My main issue is the portions size is on the lower end for the price. They have lunch specials but at least half of the container is all rice. There is too much rice and not enough of the main dish ordered.

Wanted to try and new Asian food restaurant and decided to give Mici Asian Bistro a try. I only got take out and didn’t dine in but the atmosphere seemed very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. The sushi bar looked good and the place was clean and neat. I ordered the tangerine beef and it was pretty good. The quality was good and the portion was a good amount. I would go back again

I am half Japanese and also fisherman so I have very high standards for my fish and Sushi. Obviously, you have to take things in context. And you can’t expect to get sushi like you get at a high-end Omakase sushi bar in New York City but I’m still looking for quality fish and often disappointed.
This is my go to place for Sushi locally.
I can comfortably say that within Trumbull they consistently serve the highest quality fish available in Trumbull. Staft is friendly and they make good quality sushi that I feel safe to eat and the fish quality is definitely a step above what is available in the area.

Decided to give this place another try….An even worse experience! I ordered chicken and broccoli and my husband, pad Thai. I can’t even begin to describe how awful these two dishes were. The color wasn’t even right. There was something sweet in the pad Thai and the chicken and broccoli Tasted awful. Never had anything like this in my life. The dumplings tasted like it was filled with a meatball. I’ve never tasted a dumpling like that before my life. I would never ever return here again. Oh, and it was empty again.
Less than average sushi in Trumbull. My husband is complaining about his stomach hurting immediately after consuming the sushi. The tempura rolls were very average and lacked a lot of flavor. Even the gyoza had no flavor in the sauce. Probably would not return. We really like Wild Rice in Fairfield, but that is a bit more of a trek. Also, while I know they were busy, the staff at this restaurant was very rude and the inside was empty. Never a good sign when your business relies solely on takeout.

This is our local favorite restaurant in the Trumbull area. We visit usually every Friday night for either a Chinese or Japanese meal depending on the feeling. The restaurant is locatedinthe Long Hill section of Trumbull in a newly renovated building. Upon entry you are greeted by the hostess and the always happy sushi chefs. There are 5 seats at the sushi bar if you choose to watch your meal being prepared or there or numerous tables and booths. Therr is a bar located as well with seating for 6 and includes a TV for those wanting to watch your sports game. Our goto for appetizers is the sushi pizza. If you enjoy sushi this is a must try you will be a believer. If sushi is your choice the rolls are professionally prepared and the presentation is as good as the rolls taste. On a cold night I would suggest the hot and sour soup, tastefully seasoned and not overly salty.
Next time you are looking for a good meal with excellent service stop by for a drink and sampling of their Asian fusion cuisine.

Very bad customer service. The waitress didn’t really understand what I ordered and she brought me something else. When I told her thats not what I ordered she told me I was going to have to pay for what I wanted . And basically kicked us out. What I really didnt like was the fact she stood next to me and starred me down until I left

This is, hands down, our favorite local place for sushi. And this is coming from someone who has eatien sushi across this area of Connecticut. The fish is always fresh tasting and vibrant colored. And the the carrot ginger salad dressing is exceptional! We usually do takeout, though we have dined in on occasion.
