We discovered Michelle’s Place in October after visiting the military cemetery in Higginsville, and we’ve returned a second time this year. Unfortunately, we didn’t arrive either time soon enough for breakfast. The tenderloin sandwich here is awesome, and I also have had the cheese burger (good), and the chicken-fried steak (also good). Our service was spot on, and you can tell that the locals like this place. If you are ANYWHERE NEAR, it’s worth going out of the way to eat here.
I recently discovered that their location on Google Maps was wrong–set further south in town–and I was able to submit a request to correct this. The location on Google Maps is now correct.

Nice atmosphere and the food selection is unique. I had a salad that had good taste however, I found a hair attached to a lettuce leaf. I will return but will most likely stick to the pastry selections. Was a bit on the pricy side.

Good/fresh food, nice people, with friendly service & affordable $. Sunday Fried chicken sold out just about noon. It’s a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. We’ll be going back most certainly. For a town of a couple hundred folks they sure are lucky to have this place! Personal + several flavored coffee creamers too!

This is a cute small town dinner. The staff is so friendly and the food is wonderful. I loved that they had a lot of toys for my little kids to play with while they waited for their food. Small home town feel with big flavor.

Always fresh food and quick service. Everyone is friendly and the dining area is always clean. They have daily lunch specials and usually pretty good. The fried chicken liver is just like what my grandmother makes , excellent. Breakfast is quick hot and fresh.
