We were in Clarksville for a wedding. We like to visit locally owned businesses when we travel out if town. Staff was nice and attentive. The dining decor was very dated and had a funky smell. Food was so-so.

Firstly, this is a small, mom & pop diner, so don’t expect fine dining. That said, it lived up 100% to what it is. I do see why some rated the place poorly based on the waitress. She is an off the cuff, what you see is what you get personality. At her core, she’s a sweet person, you just can’t expect her to be bubbly. Personally, I found her part of the experience. The food is exactly how it bills itself and does the job for a reasonable cost. I plan to be back to try the breakfast and the desserts.

Ate here with my wife and it was amazing. Some of the other photos we saw we a bit meh, so we were amazed when our food came out. We wanted to make sure you saw a full plate. This was their Number 1 meal and I added a side of apples. We had the same meal, she had OJ, and the tab was $17!!

Wow I can’t say enough great things about Michelle’s Home Cooking, from day one coming here (not quite a year ago) we were greeted and treated like family. We plan our weekends around coming here for breakfast and when family comes to town this is absolutely a must to bring them to. As to the customer (Edward Franco) who wrote the negative review well we were the customers that you referenced so unless you know us and those that work there don’t come out of your mouth sideways. When coming here there is a sign in front of your face (I have included it with this post) that clearly states “All food is cooked to order! NO food is pre-pared! There will be a wait! Thank you!!”, so if you were on a tight timeframe to return to work you should call in your order ahead of time. Michelle’s Home Cooking is super accommodating and I am certain they would have ensured your order was ready in time. If you come in after my large party of 10 people and place your order, oh yeah don’t tell them that it’s to go it is no wonder why you had a wait, once again please reread the picture I have included. Our family comes here frequently and not once have we ever received bad service or food, the owner and workers are extremely welcoming and accommodating to all. Thank you Michelle’s Home Cooking family for always welcoming us and our family and taking such great care of us/ensuring we all leave with a smile on our face and a full belly. I can’t wait for many more years of breakfast with you all.

This is the best place to have a home cooked meal in the area period if you ask me. They take such good care of our tournament staff each time we visit. And if you are looking for a catered meal ready to pick up and go, look no further , these folks have the answers for you and the response can only be one thing Mmmm Mmmm GOOOOD!!!

I am just getting around to leaving my review. Let me start by saying this is an incredible little place off the beaten path. The food is truly down home cooking. In response to one of the previous reviews the food comes out unseasoned because they are trying to look out for those with allergies. The staff is one of the things that make this place so enjoyable. The personality of both of the waitresses is unmatched. They are just a tell it like it is bunch. However it is all with love.
