Terrific frozen custard spot conveniently located right on the C bus line. The service is always fast and friendly, and the food comes out quickly whether you order at the counter or use one of the kiosks. They offer a wide range of rotating custard flavors, so there’s usually something new to try, and the food is solid too—great for a quick bite or casual stop-in. It’s a little on the pricey side, but the recent renovation makes the space feel much nicer and more comfortable. Definitely a reliable go-to for frozen custard lovers.

We stopped for a snack, and it was a very pleasant experience. We had a large vanilla & chocolate chip ice cream & of course Wisconsin cheese curds which was excellent. The customer service was friendly. She was happy to answer our questions. We recommend it.

I have to say… Very disappointed in how unwelcoming of an atmosphere this place had and in the poor customer service that we received. This place is closed at 9:30 PM and we arrived at 9 PM. We were told multiple times that they were approaching closing and that their grill would close at 9:15 PM. We were placing our order and we told again that if we didn’t get our order in in time that the grill would close and they would not be able to give us our food. When I picked up my food, the person who was running the kitchen took my buzzer and after I said, thank you, didn’t even respond and slammed the buzzer down on the counter. The staff was clearly not happy that we were there. They closed their bathrooms at 7 PM… Even though the restaurant didn’t close for another 2 1/2 hours! There was nothing wrong with the bathrooms, and that part of the restaurant, it was simply because they had cleaned it and didn’t want anybody using it. Nothing says we are not very welcoming like the sign in this picture. To top it all off, we were asked to leave the building a few minutes before the place closed, even though their staff was there still cleaning up. I have to say, one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a local quicker restaurant. Would have never been treated this way at Culver’s!

The Classic Burger, it was the best burger, done right !wonderful caramelized, onions, good melted cheese, and crispy pickles, all added up to being so much better than the spots that start with C!

Great place. We ordered burgers and fries and I had cheese curds with a turtle almond iced latte. Very delicious food but it’s definitely a little on the pricy side.

Best in Madison- Custard is amazing and the burgers are delicious. The malts are vastly superior to Culver’s. The location is beautiful too as you can walk down by the lake. Highly Recommended!

Awful experience and rude customer service. We ordered two “cookie jar” sundae’s based off the menu (photo attached) when they came they were peanut butter cookies. I’m pregnant and have not been able to eat much peanut butter. I politely showed them the menu explaining how I thought this came with Oreos… they said they changed the menu and there’s nothing they can do. They wouldn’t exchange or take back the sundae (which we didn’t touch) … I wouldn’t have an issue but we paid $20 for these! That’s a lot of money! They also gave us two different sizes? I was shocked at how rude they were. They closed the window on us. I know there’s bigger problems in the world, but I was so excited for this sundae and just needed to vent. Won’t be going back 🙁

So overpriced! A small portion of cheese curds(with a side of ranch that wasn’t requested) was over $7! They taste good but I can’t justify coming back. Even the frozen custard is too much, $15 for a banana split

I grew up coming to Michael’s when I lived in Madison. Over the years, I always try to come back. However, their prices have become obnoxious. A comparable, local frozen custard shop in Milwaukee area that I frequent is about 40% cheaper for much better custard.
