Went to the four course meal on New Year’s Eve. Arrived a little early so we sat at the bar. Perfect daiquiris. The place has amazing atmosphere, perfect lighting. The food was absolutely amazing and did not disappoint. The staff was great. My only complaint was the staffing, the single waitress (who was amazing) was overwhelmed. There were just way too many tables for her. Because of the lack of staff, we didn’t get seated until almost an hour after the reservation time and then waited another 20 minutes for menus.
I will definitely be back.

This is a quality restaurant with quality food. Great atmosphere. If you’re staying in a local hotel and reading this thinking about where to go eat, this is a top choice. The brunch is an especially great option. Bonus tip, before or after meal craft cocktails or brews at Sonder & Dram which is around the corner sharing the same building as well as shared ownership. For weekend brunch, 10:00 to 11:30 am seems to be a peak time; you can make a reservation. I enjoyed everything that I had to eat or drink; it’s all good.

Bon Vivant is elegant, unpretentious fine dining at its best. My wife and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary here, and we were not disappointed! The hostess, Shannon, was lovely and welcoming, promptly seating us in a romantic corner window table. Our server Wayne, was phenomenal!! He was well versed in all aspects of Bon Vivant, and provided impeccable service and hospitality throughout our entire evening. He was attentive without being intrusive. Thank you so much!
We started with delicious cocktails, (Classic Old Fashioned with Bulleit Bourbon) perfectly crafted by mixologist Joe. The menu is eclectic and tantalizing, making decisions difficult. The sea salt buns($7), with whipped honey butter were hot, fresh, delicious and addictive! The BBQ carrots($14), were mind blowing. Local carrots prepared with Moroccan spices, slightly charred, and served over a chickpea puree, with toasted hazelnuts, a dollop of sour cream, drizzled hot honey, and chopped parsley. The textures in this dish combined with the sweet and savory flavors, will have you licking your plate clean! Unbelievably delicious and a must try! This is not your Mother’s usual carrot preparation. Our entree choice was the 8 oz. Filet Mignon($40), with Béarnaise sauce served with whipped potatoes, and grilled asparagus.
The filet was cooked to perfection & the velvety Béarnaise sauce added the necessary bright, herbal notes. The sides were on point, and delicious. Chef Michael perfectly executed every course of this memorable dining experience!
Wayne our server, continued his kindness, in sending us on our way with a complimentary dessert! Bidding us a parting Happy Anniversary!
Highly recommend!! Cannot wait to return! Bon Vivant is a must if in the Lewiston/Auburn area. Excellent in every possible aspect of fine dining and service!!

This place is a gem! Sat at the bar and had excellent service! Ambiance inside was perfect and cute. Parked behind Sonder & Dram with no issues.
I started with an espresso martini (spectacular!) and the French onion dip, which was incredible! The salt and vinegar chips that came with it were delicious and fresh! Had the steak & frites for a main with the blue cheese butter, a fantastic paring. Ended with a delicious crème brûlée! Hands down best restaurant in L/A!!

I went with a friend for Maine Restaurant Week and it was a great experience! We each tried a different prix fixe menu item. The braised beef short ribs were fantastic and the maple eclair was amazing!!!
I would absolutely go back again for the regular menu items, and I’m excited to try the brunch menu soon!

Came for brunch. Don’t do that. Hollandaise was broken, eggs were poached wrong, French toast was dry bread in a pool of 4 dollar syrup. Biscuits were dry, almost stale, and overdone. Staff was fine. Seemed to want to churn us out despite it being pretty slow (10am sunday). Won’t be coming back, won’t be recommending.

Went here for dinner and it was amazing! Sat at the bar with bartender Joe and he was incredible as were the food and drinks. The atmosphere was fantastic. I got the filet minion and it was cooked perfectly. The rolls and mussels appetizers were delicious and the cream brûlée was a great finisher. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner with amazing food.

Such a magical place! The food is out of this world and the service is excellent. We have been to many Michelin start restaurants and this restaurant is almost at that level.
