After eating their rice pudding, I noticed there was mold on it. We brought it to the waiters attention. The waiter offered another serving of rice pudding and said it “looked new.” I declined the offer. It was then brought to the “manager’s” attention when we went to pay. The manager then proceeded to laugh in our faces, offer more rice pudding then offered ice cream saying it’ll “help feel better.” I said “No, thank you. We found mold on our food.” The manager did not offer anything apology or any discounted offer while continuing to brush it off. We didn’t argue about it; we will simply no longer patronize Michael’s Diner after becoming frequent customers.

Michael’s Diner was the perfect
host for our family repast after a funeral service. They offered a varied menu to satisfy all of our age groups, healthy portions of well prepared dishes, ample space and an accepting crowd for our active children who had been cooped up in services, quick efficient servers who were attentive thoughout the family hub bub and a delightful array of desserts that family packed to take home for later. A very good choice for our busy family !!!

This place was rather laid back as if in the 80’s.
Waitress was ok,but I could tell that she was hoping to get a nice tip.I obliged her,as I always do in these places.
I drove an old beat up car,as to not draw any attention to myself.
I always believe as a millionaire,and in order to see the “true picture” in life around you,it is incumbent that one go incognito at times in order to blend in.

We came around 12:30pm, wait time was about 10 minutes. Service was awesome, family style atmosphere, seafood combo was delicious, I ordered a lobster bisque soup and rice with it, you can always pick up salad bar anytime with this order! Philly cheesesteak omelette was great as well, it comes with home fries and toasts, We had two side orders of turkey sausage, although they missed my order of corn beef hash, we had more than enough. You can order a plain spaghetti with tomato sauce for the kids even if they don’t have it on the menu. The lobster bisque is the most delicious choice among all! Strongly recommended!

Our food was good, the only complaintI have is in behalf of our waiter. Our waiter was alone when we first arrived. I felt bad for her, she was trying to be fast and cater to everyone. I went on a Saturday morning (9am) so imagine.
