Great food, good service, okay atmosphere. It’s a nice “hole-in-the-wall” diner in Shaker Square that could be easily missable if you’re just driving past. Situated on the side of railroad tracks, I can imagine it’s a nice stop for a quick bite to eat for railroad passengers. The space is pretty small, and the ventilation didn’t seem all that great; the restaurant fairly quickly filled up with hot air as they cooked. I got the ribeye steak and eggs, with a side of French toast as well. The steak was a little thin and plain, but otherwise I have no complaints about the rest of the meal. If you’re passing through the area, looking for some quick diner-style breakfast, I can definitely recommend this place!

Excellent diner, with kind service. My son and husband loved their burgers. My jumbo gyro and chili cheese fries were everything you could want from them. Prices were affordable especially with the portions. We’ll eat here again when we’re in the area.

Service is great. Cute old school diner feel. The neighborhood is very sketchy and the diner wall being at a rapid station stop, makes the view unsavory particularly when folks lean their butt against it and it is at eye level while you eat. Some men think l Italian cute just to stairs at you. Gross.

The food here was not good at all. I ordered the double deuce and I regret it to the point of writing a review. The potatoes are absolutely disgusting. They literally have no seasoning. Not salt or pepper. They are dry and not even ketchup can make them taste better. The pancakes tasted like rubber even after syrup. My scramble eggs were one big piece. I can’t believe a place like this is still in business.This was my first meal of the day and I rather starve than eat this nasty a** food again. My 8mo old baby can cook better than this!!! I’m so serious!!!

We got a gyro, cheeseburger and fries and chili. The gyro meat was old, they put cheese on the gyro, the lettuce was old and welted. The chili was terrible looks like it’s been sitting for days. The cheeseburger was the only edible thing to eat and wasn’t real hamburger meat. 23 dollars basically was given to them. We definitely will not be returning!!!

I use to love Michaels Diner but they have raised their prices more than anywhere else but their service has been worse. The workers are not very polite and attempt to pressure you into giving a tip for take out. I miss the old Michaels Diner experience.
