A Perfect Date Night: Romantic Setting, Impeccable Service, and Wonderful Food!
Michaels Bistro & Wine Bar provided an absolutely enchanting experience from start to finish. This is, without a doubt, a wonderful place for a date night—the romantic atmosphere is unmatched. The lighting, the decor, and the background music create a cozy, intimate environment that makes conversation flow easily.
The service truly elevated the evening. We were fortunate enough to be hosted by Melinda, who was simply great! She was welcoming, attentive, and ensured every part of our visit was seamless. In fact, the entire staff provided great service, demonstrating professionalism and warmth throughout the meal.
And, of course, the highlight: the food. Every dish we ordered was wonderful—perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients is evident, making the whole dining experience memorable.
If you’re looking for a special location with top-tier hosting, incredible service, and phenomenal food, Michaels Bistro & Wine Bar is the place to go. We can’t wait to return!

Chef Shawn is doing something really special here. The food is thoughtful, fresh, and full of flavor, and you can tell it’s crafted with intention and passion. Every bite showed the level of skill and heart being poured into the kitchen.
Kaitlien absolutely elevates the experience. Her cocktails are outstanding (recommend a marg or espresso martini). She brings such a welcoming energy that makes you want to stay awhile and come back often. Also shout out to Monica – the service is beyond impressive!
It’s exciting to see a locally owned restaurant open in Pendleton and execute at this level. We’ll be regulars for sure and will proudly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food, great drinks, and great people.

I’ve dined here twice & will definitely be coming back! Wonderful staff & very relaxing atmosphere. You can tell how much care goes into each dish. Great addition to downtown Pendleton! Highly recommend the Korean sandwich for lunch & the salmon for dinner, absolutely delicious.

The pork chop was extremely flavorful, and make sure to order the Brussels sprouts — they’re phenomenal! I’ll definitely be coming back to try other dishes. First time, look forward to next time. Went with friends who highly recommended. Exceptional food, flavors so balanced and complimented each other. Had beef medallions, crème brûlée was best ever tasted. Service attentive and prompt, staff professional but made you glad to be there. Definitely worth the $. Hope word gets out about this place. In my opinion you could spend a reasonable $ for an exceptional meal. Chef came around when he had time. Friend had wedge salad with protein added (salmon) which was just as good.

And the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, we even had a chance to meet and compliment the chef. We live in Chicago and always seek out neighborhood restaurants like Michael’s! Our first time in and we will definitely be returning. Shrimp cocktail was a great starter. All the entrees were excellently prepared. Decanting our bottle of wine was such a nice touch and I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the service. A much needed addition to downtown Pendleton!

What an amazing place I had the beef bourguignon was awesome. My wife had the Steak Diane and it was equally as good. The chef Sean Micheal is incredible and his place is very welcoming. Out mixology’s Kaitlien was so knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking for the best meal around then you will find it at Michael’s Bistro. Absolutely love this place.
