My husband and I had the Prime Rib sandwich.. it was very good .. mine had a little too much pepper for my liking .. but it was the best food we have had at a restaurant for weeks. We travel all over the country for our jobs, so we eat out a lot.
The atmosphere was great as well as the service.. we are more than willing to be patrons of our US Military retirees. So thank you for the great food and the laughs from your menu!

The staff here truly made the experience — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The service was exceptional and absolutely a highlight of our visit.
Food overall was very good. Everything we tried was yummy, and the chimichangas in particular were excellent and definitely worth ordering again. The salad bar lived up to the hype and was just as good as everyone says.
The only food miss for us was the corn ribs, which didn’t quite meet expectations. Additionally, while the service and food were strong, the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired and could use some improvement.
Overall, a solid meal with standout service and several great dishes — we’d return, especially for the chimichangas and the hospitality.

If you’re in Rawlins, Wyoming this is a must try. Great staff and great food! The salad bar and the soup was awesome, everything looked and tasted fresh. Soup of the day was macaroni tomato and it was delicious. We ordered the Delmonico Ribeye and it did not disappoint! Cooked perfectly and was outstanding. One of the best steaks I have had. Michael’s will be a must stop on out trip back!

We were in town for a sporting event and stopped in for dinner. We had chicken fried chicken and the burgers. Food was excellent! Really big portions, fresh salad bar and fresh hot food. Our server was excellent and attentive! We will eat here again, next time we are in town.

We stopped at Michael’s as we were traveling through Rawlins. We wanted a great steak and we were not disappointed. The 22oz sirloin was amazing. The service was super friendly and they all worked together and provided great service !! The food was fresh and well prepared and they do not skimp on portions! They provide a great salad and soup bar with every meal as well. It’s a cool Western restaurant and Western Americana. The decore is what I want to see when I pass through the west. American, patriotic as well as taxidermy animals from the area that provide a feel for the old west. The owner is present and made sure everyone was happy. I highly recommend Michael’s for great food , service and atmosphere from a local since 1973.

This was a recommendation from Melissa at the RV campground- if I could give this place 1000 stars I would! Best ribeye EVER! The owner even came out to say hello! We will mark this on our “what to do when we come back to Wyoming” list! Pennsylvania needs steaks like this!

This place was amazing! Worth every penny. We ordered a couple of burgers, and they were the best we have so far. The service was amazing. We can’t say enough about how great our experience was here. If you ever go through Rawlins Wyoming, THIS is the place to stop!

Awesome food! I’ve never had a med/rare steak. But the waitress said the chef will only cook the porterhouse rare or med/rare so that the flavor and quality of the steak stays good. It was amazing. I rated the atmosphere a 3 because they have a stage and lighting and a saloon/bar but the stage is used for storage at the moment. Not sure why. I would have enjoyed some live music on a Saturday night. Still give it 5 stars though on everything else!!

We were suggested this place by a local, and it definitely did not disappoint. The service was kind of weird, 4 people asked us how many, one at a time. We told them 2, they said just a minute, then disappeared. Then another and so on. Beyond that, the food was absolutely delicious. Steak, baked potato, fries, corn ribs, and every meal comes with a mini homemade burrito. Absolutely wonderful!!
